FWE: Survival guide

Decided to reinstall Fallout and to try Fallout Wanderer Edition. For now game feel totally awesome but I feel like I have diesd in every one of my fights... Can somebody give some advises how to succeed in new Wasteland and not just try to survive))

Main problem is I can't find the way to "easy" remove radiation poisoning. Since in FWE there are primary needs mods and every single part of food has rads so it become pretty easy to get first level of radiation poisoning, while doctors cost pretty big amount of cups and RadAways are sparce(I was only able to get one from doc in Megaton)

Second I feel like I'm really underpowered when I meet with Raiders. They kill me from one shot of automatic weapon. Is that my unluckiness or it is normal for FWE?

Be more tactical use covers, don't rush into enemies,try to kill them one by one and install Headshots and Realistic Limb Damage Behaviour by Mealyman and Weapon Mod Kits by Antistar and use silencers to kill them stealthy. I have few other mods that make the game very hardcore and interesting.I have removed the red makers from the compass so I must to think twice before I start a fight.

 

To help you with the radiation there is a mod called Megaton Player House by crazyrazor23 that gives you a shower that remove radiation.I use it with the radiation rain mod and without fast travel make the game very difficult.
