Collecting Tech for the Outcasts.

I have given Protector Casdin of the Outcasts tons and tons of Enclave tech over some time now each time I get a measly reward, I am only doing it because I saw somewhere that given enough tech the outcasts let the Player into Fort Independence. I have finished all the DLC’s and just doing all the things I didn’t complete before.

 

Someone else said that Once Casdin says he will tell all their patrols you are a friend that you can then enter the Fort surreptitiously, once inside you will be accepted as a friend, is that the way to get in?

 

What is the right procedure to get in does anyone know?

I’m now in, and have explored the whole Fortress. I acquired the Miss weapon which was everything I could find of much use. It’s a bit disappointing that once accepted and wondering inside the Fortress that everyone’s still so grumpy to the Player. And everyone is always in full armour.

Still it’s a place to sleep and heal up occasionally.
