Faction armor revamped mod

This is the issue I have with the faction armor in this game: they are seen solely as disguises instead of clothing. A legionnaire dressing as an NCR is disguising himself. An NCR dressing as an NCR is not. The game doesn't tell the difference by itself.

 

(Skip this if you just want to know exactly what I need)

 

Now, I know the mod "Intellegent (sic) Faction Armor" tries to fix this. I wouldn't be asking for a mod that does that if it worked correctly. But for some reason or another, killing a bunch of NCR soldiers (while having an Idolized reputation) causes me to lose my reputation stats with that faction after switching between clothing and faction armor a couple of times.

 

There's another mod, called "Faction Armor Usage Enhancement" that tries to add something interesting to the faction armor system, by making faction armor act as a disguise only when you are fully covered in that armor and are indistinguishable from other members. But I found one annoying issue about it, the same as in the vanilla game: I cannot wear my matching Ranger armor and helmet because my reputation drops to neutral with the NCR. Again, the game doesn't tell the difference between trying to disguise myself, and actually belonging to that faction.

I want a mod that does the following: whenever you are wearing faction armor, your reputation will be set to neutral with that faction as long as your base reputation is negative. And when your reputation is good with that faction, your reputation will be left as is. If possible, I would like every other faction to remember my reputation with them, unless they directly conflict (NCR <-> Legion, NCR <-> BoS, and don't know if there's others as well), in which case they will be hostile to me no matter how much they would like me in neutral clothing.

 

Could somebody please consider making this mod?
