FeedFest
Hey TNF, I need help with a quest I don't want to start.. So as the cool kid that I am, I finished the -->DAWNGUARD<-- quest from the DLC that I got for TES (The Elder Scrolls). Then I adventured on to start the main quest line. Anyways, I was trying to get the Stormcloaks and Imperials to stay peaceful until I've slain Alduin, the World Eater. After I've finished the negotiation, this mother trucker, Esbern, decided to give me the quest to slay the Greybeards' Master, Paarthurnax. I don't feel like slaying the dragon who helped me learn Dragonrend.. To get to the point, I need someone who has all the DLC installed on TES PC version. I need you to remove the Paarthurnax Quest for me. Like it never happened. F.A.Q. "Hey stupid. Why not do it yourself?" - I don't have the DLC on the PC/Steam version. "Why don't you just ignore it?" - If I ignore it, I won't be able to get the Dragon Infusion potion that Esbern will give me once I've recruited three Blades member for him. "Why are you still playing this game?" - Why can't I play this game?
vlaka
you're not really asking for help and the DLC thing doesn't make any sense...
Cloverwolf
There's a mod called " The Paarthurnax Dilema". What it does is that it allows you to Convince the Blades that Paarthurnax has redeemed himself and should not be killed. From that point on Paarthurnax gets to live and both the Blades and the Greybeatds still like you.
Candex
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/18465/? Hi, Perhaps if you are willing to install and try this mod you may get some satisfaction out of that quest.I have not tired it myself (yet, I will once I create a new character) however its author, Arthmoor, is well known as one of the most experienced modders out there. This means the mod is quite reliable too. That being said... I am not sure if you can get the friendship of the Blades regardless, with the mod installed. Check the mod description and the comments. If you really, really need the potion, you can always add it via console command.EDIT: Cloverwolf just got there first... Now you know, it works. I provided the link. Cheers :) Edited February 24, 2015 by Candex
kniggit92
That dragon potion isn't worth the trouble of breaking the main quests storyline as intended by Bethesda. If you must have it, just use a console command to get it. Edited February 24, 2015 by kniggit92
FeedFest
you're not really asking for help and the DLC thing doesn't make any sense... I'm asking for someone to remove the Paarthurnax questline, so I wouldn't have to kill him. I don't have the DLC on the PC version, so if I switched my Xbox 360 files onto the PC I would lose all of my DLC quests and would have to either restart my game entirely or continue without the DLCs. That's what I mean. There's a mod called " The Paarthurnax Dilema". What it does is that it allows you to Convince the Blades that Paarthurnax has redeemed himself and should not be killed. From that point on Paarthurnax gets to live and both the Blades and the Greybeatds still like you. Thanks, I'll use this once I've finished everyone on the Xbox 360 side. I'm starting to play the PC side and have added a couple extra adventures along the way! That dragon potion isn't worth the trouble of breaking the main quests storyline as intended by Bethesda. If you must have it, just use a console command to get it. The Dragon Infusion potion is what I'm after. Also I just don't want to kill Paarthurnax over it. I know it's pretty lame, but I just want to keep both Greybeards & Blades at Neutral levels. (Even though Blades are telling to commit genocide on all the dragons of Skyrim).
