  1. Not a fix, but did you check out the bijin warmaidens mod? Doesn't require any mods to work and looks great.
  2. Ehh seems to me like the DB is having a ton of bad luck along the whole questline.. Down to like 8 members, their hideout gets discovered, the coffins cart wheel broke etc.
  3. Nvidia has full support for skyrim built in their latest drivers so should be fine  I would definitely recommend the latest gtx cards because they're the best bang and also the best bang for your buck at the moment. The most important for Skyrim is still the gpu's base and memory clock speeds.
  4. Are you running any overlay programs aside from steam? (afterburner, fraps etc)
  5. Game volume is very low and your clicking and typing is way louder than your voice. Pretty unwatchable at this point.
  6. She dies because it would make more sense to have her replace the arch mage :)
  7. Your savegames are located in your documents folder, as long as you don't delete those you wont lose anything ;) (Unless you meant mods, I would strongly advice you to reinstall your mods especially if you are using a mod manager)
  8. You can add your own smelter with the console with the player.placeatme command. Then just use http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52583/? to put it in a nice spot.
  9. You could combine any of the sabre cat summon/taming mods (there are a lot of them) with this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57335/?
  10. What do you mean by character slots? This game doesn't have character slots.
  11. Have you considered unequipping armor vs mages and getting some enchanted magic resist shield, ring, necklace etc?
  12. Don't know about Vilja, but Sofia is way too overpowered.
  13. Yes you can run as many texture mods as you want, generally the mod installed last will overwrite the ones before it, unless you specifically chose not to.
  14. Fur armor isn't really armor in Skyrim, it barely gives any protection at all. They aren't using it as armor they're using it because they do not own any armor or armoring skills.
  15. Not in an easy way no you'd have to edit the model. You can change the bodytype to one with underwear though, just copy paste the body you want into the right folder (look into the mods zip file to find where you should look in your data folder)
  16. You couldn't be more wrong Kestrellius. History had plenty of female warriors. Look up Boudica, Joan of Arc, Lozen etc.
  17. It uses malachite and moonstone. Malachite is very similar to ebony except it's more flexible and not as durable which makes it suitable for light armor. Glass in elder scrolls is not the glass used in windows that we know, they have that kind of glass in elder scrolls too but it's not the same as malachite glass. Oh and yes there exists malachite and moonstone in our world, but they're not the same in the elder scrolls world, just like ebony isn't a metal, but wood in our world.
  18. Before removing an unwanted master from a plugin, make sure all dependencies have actually been removed. To remove an unused master file from a plugin, follow these steps: Launch the Creation Kit Navigate to File->Data Select any required plugins as normal Select the plugin from the list and notice the list of parent masters on right Select the master file to remove on the right and press Ctrl+Delete If you receive an error regarding the ID, select "Yes" Click "OK" After the plugin is finished loading, save the changesMore on master files: http://www.creationkit.com/Data_file#Removing_Master_File_Dependencies_From_Plugins
  19. Uninstall the mod, load your save game, save, reinstall mod, load save game and check if it still happens.
  20. Glass in elder scrolls is not the same as glass in our world.
  21. everyone knew how to do it in our world. Was going to say this. In the world of Skyrim everyone is pretty much specialized in one or two things, a mage is usually adept in one or maybe two schools, a smith is usually only good at smithing, a fletcher is only good at fletching, an alchemist is only good at alchemy, the fighters guild (companions) is specialized in fighting and don't know how to smith (which is why they have Eorlund to do it for them) etc etc. The only races that teach hunting and smithing to their children are orcs and wood elfs. Humans (especially nords) are usually only good at what their father is good at, unless they become an adventurer, become an apprentice or join a guild. Oh and @Lachdonin, have you ever listened to what these bandits say when you sneak near them? They sound pretty retarded to me :)
