Where can I get mods for 12.7mm SMG?

As the title suggests. haven't found any and am really wanting especially for an extended clip.

are you asking if there are mod for download, or mods in the game??

because i just checked the weapon in the GECK, and it only has a silencer mod

of course, you can always make your own mod that increases it's magazine size

it shouldn't take more than a few minutes to create, and then you just have to either place it in the game, or get it with it's ID

 

if you are asking if someone made a mod for download, i have no idea

Wel I was asking for an ingame mod :) Would have posted over the mod section otherwise.

 

Good to know there is only one mod for it... I have to say, I am very inexperienced with modding, and GECK seems a tad hard to approach, so I doubt I could make such a mod as easy as you think :o I'll give it a try if there aint one out already tho.

I saw the silencer mod at the Gun Runners, though I didn't have a 12.7 SMG to use it on.

well, if you can't get it done, i could try doing it for you

just tell me the stats (you know, how many more rounds, and where to put it) and i'll see what i can do

 

i'm not promising anything, but i could try it (one note however, is that i can't change the model, to look as if the magazine is bigger)

So Gun Runners... weird, haven't yet soon one at them, and am lvl 30... Oh well, suppose it'll turn up.

 

And WastelandAssassin, thats awesome! Well, it doesnt matter you cant change the model, as long as one could get a tad more ammo capacity to it, the 15 round clip is "funny". I was thinking 5 or 10 rounds more (if youre gonna make a proper downloadable mod for it you decide which, tho maybe 5 would be sort of hardly worth it but hey), and maybe get it at Gun Runners or the NCR miltech trader thats down in Camp McCarran, the dude that gives out missions for you, to deliver stuff? (EDIT: Sgt. Daniel Contreras)

 

Oh. And if you can, maybe make it so its available only after you complete Daniels quests. Or that a better, more expensive one will unlock then, with 15 more ammo cap?

and i could add it to an inventory, but i was thinking more like placing it in the game (like on one of the benches in the Gun Runners factory)

 

but i'll see if i can do it :)

ok, so i think i managed to do it :)

 

basically, i added one of the 12.7 SMGs to the Gun Runners HQ, on one of the stands in the room with the work benches, and the kit on the bench with the glasses

i really hope i didn't mess with the place or anything, but i need to to check that the place is fine, and the mod actually works

Hm, I found the weapon but when I picked it up, it didnt show up in my inventory... Strange.

 

Then, when I first drop my other 12.7, it did show up in inventory, but had regular size clip.
