nynik
Please consider this thread closed. Considering the legal issue further it is not likely, nor appropriate to do this. After further searching I found: This type of project is not necessarily illegal, unless you plan to *distribute* copyrighted game resources (meshes, textures, ESM files, etc.) intended to be used outside of the game that contains them already. The issue is that Bethesda specifically does not approve of such a project, even if the assets are not being distributed with it. The Nexus sites have maintained a very good relationship with Bethesda, and would like it to continue. For this reason, these types of mods are not allowed here. Hi, SO I was thinking how practical it might be to bring across some of the vanilla towns to NV. I concluded that it might only be possible for places that don't rely to much on the vanilla environment (Rivet City vs Republic of Dave). With that in mind, I would venture a request for people more skilled than myself to recreate vanilla capital wasteland towns (considering the models should all still be in NV) in the New Vegas area, scattered around the map in appropriate locations. Places like: - Republic of Dave- Some Vaults- Agatha's Cottage and Radio Station- Canterbury Commons- Rockopolis- etc **Additionally - this would not be about porting over content or missions/quests as I feel that would betray FO3 as a game, and may also, frankly, be illegal. In order to do it perhaps these areas would need to be named differently and have sufficient tweaks? Food for thought perhaps, or just nonsense maybe.
