MoutainSplitter
I was wondering if someone could edit the hazmat suit's headpiece, the Darklight Cowl in a few ways. If someone could make it so that the nightvision is either toggle-able or disabled, and edit its equip slots, so that one could wear a helmet or hood over the hazmat cowl, that would be great. Thanks for any replies

Thanks for any replies Sure I could do that for you, already setup one for the advanced riot armor helmet. I'll just copy over the script when I get a few minutes of free time. I find it annoying not to have a simple on/off switch, too.
devinpatterson
OBTW your probably going to get some clipping with the cowl and headgear. Might be minor, might be pretty bad. I can fix that, but probably won't since it involves making new models. However if it's horrendous let me know and maybe I can find some time to tweak it. devinpatterson
OK here it is. GhostVision toggled by user selected hotkey (re-configurable), turned off during daylight hours & exterior cell, freed up hat/helmet slot. Just unrar into your data directory and select in your launcher of choice. Untested in game, but it should work fine.

MoutainSplitter
Well, it works, and the toggle function is great by the way. Here's some screencaps of it with a MICH helmet and a hood mod I had previously. It clips with the hood, but looks good with the helmet. I tested it with some other types of head gear; it won't equip with certain hats and basic combat helmets, but it still looks good. http://cloud-4.steamusercontent.com/ugc/535138528797771974/C13D1965311F0080FDC935E6FE859C9D5991054B/ http://cloud-4.steamusercontent.com/ugc/535138528797771974/C13D1965311F0080FDC935E6FE859C9D5991054B/
devinpatterson
Well, it works, and the toggle function is great by the way. Yeah it's about the only thing that makes the low light vision tolerable in my opinion. Here's some screencaps of it with a MICH helmet and a hood mod I had previously. It clips with the hood, but looks good with the helmet. I'm afraid I can't really make out too much from the pics. If I have an idea what gear your using, some extra time and (most importantly) the clipping is relatively minor I could probably tweak the original model a bit. I tested it with some other types of head gear; it won't equip with certain hats and basic combat helmets, but it still looks good. I left the hair and mask body slots active for the cowl (seemed appropriate/realistic). If you want I can knock them out too. I'm heading out the door, but leave a post if you want me to tweak it and I'll take a look tomorrow.
MoutainSplitter
I apologize if it sounds like complaints about the clipping and such, but this mod you made works well. For information on the helmet/hood, here's links to the nexus for them: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/43767/? (Hood) , http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/56891/? (Helmet). If you could knock out the hair/mask slots, that would be appreciated. Thanks for your time and the mod you made.

For information on the helmet/hood, here's links to the nexus for them: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/43767/? (Hood) , http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/56891/? (Helmet).OK I'll take a look at them If you could knock out the hair/mask slots, that would be appreciated. Thanks for your time and the mod you made.OK removed the hair and mask body slots, but you have to have something to hang the armor on or it won't show up in game. So I put it on the nosering slot, I don't think any standard FONV items use it. Download it here.
