Is a "passive = no combat/non-combatant" mod possible?

I only ask because I would like to use ED.E as a packmule and not have him/her/it constantly drawing fire and chasing after enemies, even when set "Passive". Ideally, "passive" would mean completely non-combatant... I know nothing of MODs other than how to load them. From the esteemed opinions of the experienced MODders, is this doable?

Do you have any other mod that changes ED-E or the companions?I changed the ED-E so he will help nobody,low confidence... i was thinking he would start to flee from battles^^

Also,the mole rat were very close to him?And the low confidence makes him only take a fight with someone at least twice weaker,so a mole pup is really weak...try this,i put the confidence to cowardly,so he won't even try a boatfly...

Edited: tested it,he will flee ... will remain at your side but you can't active him until combat is over.

NO, no other mods for ED-E, however, I did wander towards the molerat and let him attack me... then ED-E went after him. No fleeing... but maybe self-defence... let me test it again with ED-E set to "stay far away"...

This time, set for "Keep Distance" I went hunting for the Molerat cub and when it was in my sights ED-E did nothing and I killed it... and again with another Molerat, so I'm thinking it is working. He may not be completely non-combative but at least he doesn't initiate combat unless it is defence of me or himself.

thanks for the encouragement,but this mod is very simple to do,so i think there is no need to upload it,also if you want i can change the mod to make the ED-E essential in hardcore mode.

Call me goofy, but that seems like cheating in Hardcore. I mean the point is to avoid him dieing, but I just wanted "Passive" mode to make him actually passive. Thanks though...

 

After playing for a while, he does run off a lot now... ;)

hehe... Try using the First,he wouldn't ran from a mole pup at least :D

 

I was Seeing some scripts here and i found a way to stop the running problem,but would create a new one because EDE would stuck in the place(During Combat only)... if you wanna i can do it here,isn't much difficult.
