solidshake
Is there anyway to size the Daedroth to bigger proportions and someone how put wings? is that possible at all? I know someone made a giant ogre mod, so I am asking if that might work
SerpentofShadow
It might be possible, but getting the wing animations to work would be the biggest trick. I know that people are working on the adding animations problem, but regardless of the progress the number of those that can are severly limited. Additionally finding someone to add the wings could be difficult. I know that someone is working on a mod that adds real dragons (new model and all). Best hope is that. Unless of course you don't care about the wings, then it might be possible. I can't though. :/

WarKirby3333
Paregrine might do it... if you pay him. How much do you really want dragons? WarKirby
solidshake
The wings aren't THAT important, just a nice add-on A simple resize of the daedroth would make me happy :D anyone? like, put them far the east of the Imperial City or near Bruma That would be awesome
Vagrant0
The wings aren't THAT important, just a nice add-on A simple resize of the daedroth would make me happy :D anyone? like, put them far the east of the Imperial City or near Bruma That would be awesome The problem with a simple resize is that is that it usually sucks when you play the game. Instead of attacking you, they attack the air 10-20 feet above you. Then there's the whole standing inside their leg thing which was an issue in Morrowind, but might still be one in Oblivion. Even with the resizing, and the rather difficult part of adding wings, you still have the fundimental problem of attack animations and the physics that go along with scaling up anything. You can scale up a daedroth with just the CS, it is there within the creature window. The problem is that it would just look like a resized daedroth that doesn't get the whole "you = smaller" thing. As far as making it work in any reasonable manner, at current rate of things, try asking again in about 4-8 months depending on how this whole animation thing goes.. sleaaels
Ah now its clear to me why i don't see mods with mehrune or akatosh like characters or npcs around, never really thought beyond just resizing. Guess i should know by now nothing is as simple as it seems.
CyanideDreamer
Pheh The best I've gotten wings to do at the moment is to change the model... o_O ... (as I'm typing this I think I might had cracked the model animation thing.... {I'm mentaly kicking my self for not thinking of this.... }) Er ... I wonder if it has occured to any one that it might be possible to loop SEVERAL wings in different possisions but no that wont work cose it will be replacing the item so quickly it look like bad stop motion animation.. rather is it possible to make an animated object thats attached to the body.. Look the tail model on argonians is a seperate model... it is not totaly nessecary to have it... so. theoreicly on could create a new "tail model" for the other races that fit as wings? also in that respect it is then theoreticly possible to animate an object. and that animation only occures during the script effect and defaults to the folded position... again I'm thinking drat how do you animate for oblivion... BUt I hope what I've put up here makes a few bells ring.. :)
WarKirby3333
Povuholo posted a link to it a few days ago. Apparently, animations have been cracked.Look for a thread titled something along the lines of 'Custom animations are possible' From what I hear though, the results are underwhelming at the moment and it will take a few months for people to figure out the more complex stuff. It's gonna be awhile yet. If you could use that link to find one of these elite few, you might be able to get something out of them. Your chancs of getting anything would greatly improve if you offered them money. Money makes th world go round WarKirby
