Crash at dino bite store

Hi,

I initially started my game with a few mods (FOOK, Arwen's realism mod, etc.)

 

Then, when I entered Novak, I added some more mods, and continued. the save.

 

 

 

When I enter the dino bite store, the game lags terribely. There is a black screen at first, then it transitions into a room full of random big objects, the lag continues and there are heaps of object clipping. It's impossible to escape from this.

 

Are there any suggestions on where to start fixing this? Does it sound like a corrupt save game? If I start a new game, will it be corrupt too?

In Wrye Bash, all my saves have a red icon. The mods have green icons.

I suppose the easiest way to start looking at it would be to disable all mods and see if it works then. Then turn on each one until you find the culprit.

 

And from what I'm to understand corrupt save files won't load at all. So I don't think it's that.

Can someone have a look at the list and point out possible incompatibilities/wrong load order? From the top of your head.

Dangit I didnt want to come to this but its fook dangit. I compared our mods and disabled the ones we had in common. And I saved fook for last. Didnt want to say it but it is fook. Maybe I can get an update soon.

My symptoms match yours exactly.

 

It's now fixed I think. They re-released it on the 12th?

 

Do you mind if you post your mod list too? Im still not sure if my load order is optimal/compatible.

so its fook that broke the dino bite? i have the same problem, upon entering, the game lags(black screen) then when i spawn iside, it seems that im in the shelves/walls and all the items are jumbled together. i only have fook, nvse, breeze and type 3 mods installed. tho i have my own mod that adds items from other mods(i.e. combined meshes and textures form several weapon mods). prefer to run with as few esps as possible.

Download the latest version of FOOKNV v0.03.

Uninstalled and reinstalled fook as of 11/15/2010 12pm PST, still experiencing this issue. Symptoms are same as the other folks, radiation noise as if I was in the closet of the shop, lagged to hell feels like I'm IN a texture plane.

 

UPDATE: The real issue now is I've uninstalled fook and the issue persists, will update if I manage to get this resolved.

 

Update 2: all mods are uninstalled/deactivated, archive invalidation turned back off, verified integrity via Steam. I ran it through the vanilla launcher (no FOMM) after this was finished, issue persists.

Fook update fixed mine try looking at my post named Crash fix for some in this forum or the fallout newvegas mod troubleshooting. ANd remeber fook dose not take effect for some until 4 in game days.
