Separate killmove adjustment for the player

Is there a way to adjust the rate of kill moves performed on the player and on NPCs seperately? Because I'm REALLY f***ing sick of the game pushing the "f*** you, I win" button the moment fights start, even though I'm at full health, have a high armour rating, am currently blocking, and happen to be halfway across the room about six times farther than the enemy's reach. At the same time, the kill move animations are a part of the game I don't actually want to get rid of (at least not entirely).

 

If not, then I'd rather the game not include kill moves at all than have them ever performed on the player. And that's what I'm doing in the mean time.

The Dance of Death is no longer being updated, so even the author of that has actually started recommending VioLens. It's really good--all the options the Dance of Death had, plus the ability to control ranged and sneak attack stuff separately. That pleases me enormously, as killmoves for ranged attacks drive me nuts, and you can turn off slow-motion for the killmoves you are using.

I seem to remember Dance of Death being outdated, which is why I didn't link it. I, too, will check out Violens. Thanks for the info.
