Oblivionmans
Please help! I just got New Vegas and installed it and all that and when i try to run it (with the FalloutNVLauncher application) it just says: Steam ErrorApplication load error 5:0000065434. So, if anyone can help me fix this, i would be a very happy gamer! Ps. If it is any help at all, I have windows xp. EDIT: I have just uninstalled Steam and it still has the same error when i try to launch Fallout New Vegas.
JimboUK
Right click on your game in your Steam library and select properties, click the "Local Files" tab and then press "Verify integrity of game cache" and let it do its thing.

What steam? I uninstalled it. I could try just reinstalling it then doing what you said. Would that work? Ps. I did NOT buy fallout New vegas on steam, i bought it from a video game store. JimboUK
Just remove what you've got and start again, you must have Steam installed to run the game and it must be allowed to connect the internet at least once to activate the product. http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/263572-fallout-new-vegas-steam-installation-tips/
