Achiro
My price range won't exceed 150$. Here are my specs. Processor : AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+ (2 CPUs), ~2.6GHzInstalled memory (RAM) : 2.00 GBSystem type : 64-but Operating systemCurrent Video Card : Radeon X300/X550/X1050 SeriesHeres the cards I've been looking at I got my eyes set on the HIS Radeon, but I know some video cards no matter how good can cause a certain game to turn into a trainwreck, take STALKER for an instance, it's a very picky game. Here's a few of the cards I've been looking at.HIS Radeon HD 5770 1 GB GDDR5 Eyefinity DisplayPort HDMI 2x DL-DVI (HDCP) PCI Express 2.1 X16SAPPHIRE 100245L Radeon HD 4850 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP GIGABYTE GV-NX96T512H GeForce 9600 GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI I've found them all within reasonable prices and I'm wondering which would perform the best with my system and run Fallout 3 at the best of quality out of the three. Jagermh
I notice that there are a lot of radeon cards there, yucky! :yucky:Hehe, I dont realy like radeon but they're fine. I would recommend a 9800gt or an ECS 260gt.Why do I specify the manufacturer you ask, because the box is better (HOT AS!) and you always keep your GPU box. Illiad86
Out of the bunch you put there, the 5770 would be the best. 9600GT is very slow compared to that. The 4850 is way faster than the 9600GT, but still slower than the 5770. I have the 5770, not a bad card :) Runs Oblivion like a champ (modded to heck with high resolution textures, 1920x1200, 4xAA, 8xAF), but my system is a bit faster than yours (processor is at 3.2GHz, 4GB RAM). I haven't played FO3 since I had my 7950GT, so I don't know how that would run. But it does have similar graphics/requirements to Oblivion so it would run fine I think. Sheesh, Nvidia cards are way too expensive still lol. They have a GTX 260 here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150398&cm_re=260-_-14-150-398-_-Product if you wanna drop another $20, you could get that. It's about the same as the 5770. Nvidia's cards are a little better than ATi, but ya do pay for them.

The exchange rate is almost equal right now, all you need is to find the stock which isn't too old since newer stock will be cheaper.
