TheQest
Project Cloutothy Project Discription: Project Cloutothy is an attempt to make a massive city that has many new opportunities for making quests and just enjoying. There is also a plan to include a main-quest for the city, but this has yet to be firmly established. The city will include many small side-quests and will be very much alive with activity. Status Report:10/10/03 Right now we need people who are willing to decorate a few interiors. There are almost sixty buildings in Cloutothy, so if anyone wants to take one or two it would be appreciated. A list of all the buildings is at the bottom of the page. Right now, the only building done is the mages guild. Jobs:1) Exterior Architecture -100%2) Exterior Doodads - 15% (Phist)3) Interior Architecture - 100%4) Interior Furniture - 1% (Qest) 5) NPC's - 0%6) Dialogue - 1% (Kieve)7) Mini-Quests - 1% (Kieve)7) Main-Quest - 0% Team Roster: QestPhistEd_ConnKieve Main-quest storyline: Cloutothy was originally founded by a group of exiles from the empire that fled to the island and began a new life. Since it was part of none of the great houses, it quickly became a center for trade. The king and queen and their nobles ruled over the land for many years in peace, but recently the great houses have begun to make demands on the city (mainly a percentage of all trade profit). The now king and queen, the descendants of the original king and queen, don't want to see the city fall apart, and impose heavy taxes on the people of cloutothy to pay for these demands. The people do not take the news kindly, and begin to form a group of rebels who seek to overthrow the monarchy and establish a democratic government led by themselves. They claim they only wish to do this so that they can remove the taxes on the people, saying that the great houses are not so strong, and that cloutothy should fight. Whether they have hidden agendas remains to be questioned. And so you arrive in the city and have a choice between joining the nobles and defending them, or joining the rebels in killing the nobles. TheQest
Yeah... I'm working on that too, but I have too much time to spend it all in one place. Did you like the keep? Cheers,
Marxist ßastard
If these are outcast Imperials with no Great House ties, then why do they have Hlaalu architecture and a Morag Tong guildhall?
TheQest
It's retextured hlaalu with re-textured velothi interiors. And the origins of the city will be explained well in the mod. Cheers,-qest
Marxist ßastard
Somehow, I'm not suprised that you didn't answer my question at all...
TheQest
Lol... I have an answer, I'd just rather not write it out considering you probably don't really care anyways :). If you decide to get the mod when it's released, rest assured it will be adequately explained. Cheers,-qest
Switch
Well it looks like a very nice mod (even if Marxist must nitpick at the inconsistencies :P). I might download it just to have the city in game! :D I would offer a helping hand but I'm not really that good :P
