JohannesGunn
Really? Now that right there is useful information. I wonder what it can be applied to? For instance, if you make a motorcycle, car, or vertibird (or even airship, for those of you old enough to be fans of Final Fantasy 3) mod, could you get it to follow you like the horse did when you fast travel? Edit: I wonder if you could make it look at a list of creatures, instead of just one. I have some time to play around tonight, I'll look into it and post the results, if any, at a later date. Yeah, you could use it, so long as you made sure to tag that vehicle or whatever it is, as a horse. (would be useful if you had a pack brahmin yeah?) Daynox
for those of you old enough to be fans of Final Fantasy 3 i still have Final Fantasy 1 with original maps and charts for Nintendo..and every other one upto 8  for various systems... :geek: anywho... 8) Not sure on the Giddyup Buttercup figurine...but some pretty damn fine things have been done with modding fo3 and vegas, so i would not be surprised if one of the greater modders here produced even just a Horse resource that another modder could use to actually place ingame. or hey....we could all just bug Bethesda REAAAALLY bad for horses in the next dlc. ;D

But anyhow, I like FONV so I am gonna keep playing and modding. And hope for someone with the ability to make this one comes along xD
McclaudEagle
Big companies tend to ignore their customers for as long as they can. The only time they actually care is when their profits are being hit. I have yet to learn of a company that doesn't follow that principle... scrivener07
Well horses werent exactly the best in Oblivion and its POSSIBLE that it was attempted by the devs but was cut for not having the right feel to them. Oblivion horses are stiff and clunky.
Deadzen
What a great idea I just had! Some horses mutated and grew horns like Unicorns! At last, a way to merge the Fallout and My Pretty Pony universes... Sorry, I was still high from the word 'shpadoinkle'. But anyway, the best rendering of horses Ive seen in a game is Mount and Blade, and even that is borderline, imo. Anything less than that wouldnt be worth it. JohannesGunn
Hmm... Well, okay. Horses weren't the best. But still, wouldn't it be nice to ride SOMETHING on the endless trek around the wasteland? Even a Vespa would be better than walking... maybe. But some of the horses by modders were really great. And horse combat (by the creator of deadly reflex) gave options to do horse combat. Looking at the fact that a modder can do this, I would say bethesda COULD do really good with it, they just don't try hard enough. Infact, Elderscrolls: 5 will most likely have horses, which will most likely be better than in oblivion.
