Enclave Remnants armor

Alright, by a quick look at the forum it seems to just be a bunch of people with- well, I don't want to say bad ideas, but I will say that it's not going to happen.

I'm tired of having to do Arcade Ganon's quest to get this armor, and I'm sure as hell not going to get shot on the way to a deathclaw paradise to die trying to get it. I'm thinking of just a simple mod to put in a Remnants Power Armor into a location. Putting it somewhere interesting and unexpected would be nice, but it doesn't matter as long as you have to put a bit of work in to get it. I thank you for reading this, and happy modding. ;)

That would actually be a really easy mod to do, but (I don't mean this in a rude way) have you tried placing it in yourself?

All you have to do is find the location you want it in, drag and drop it into the render window, and et voila! I guess there might be a small scripting issue, though I'm not sure off the top of my head without looking at the in-game scripts.

I'm a bit busy at thr moment, which is why I haven't offered to do it myself. Have a try, and if you run into any problems, give me a shout :)

Incidently, here's some deathclaw tips:

Melee specialists: Use a chainsaw, obtainable my killing MotorRunner in Vault 3, and chainsaw them bitches! with a moderate melee skill, you can take away half their HP in VATS, although you may need to save and reload a lot if the 'claws get lucky shots in. Pair it up with the Purifier perk.

Guns specialists: A Sniper Rifle to the head. If you have a decent guns skill, this is a great tactic, especially if you have ED-E as a companion for the extra perception boost. This tactic works well enough on its own, but pair it up with finesse and better criticals and you got yourself a deathclaw assassination machine. I took out a legendary deathclaw in two hits before he even saw me :)

Energy Weapons specialists: If you can find a high vantage point where the 'claws can't reach, pretty much anything is useful, with a lean towards lots of ammo and a heavy incinerator. Beyond that, the Pew Pew is your best friend, coupled with the Laser Commander perk.

Anyway, like I said, let me know if you have tried it and you're having trouble and I'll see what I can do :)

Nope, don't own PC version yet. x]

I would place it in myself after I got it, but I wouldn't even worry myself upon moddding it in. I would just give myself some REAL Chinese Stealth armor, and go through silver peak and the deathclaw promontory. But HOLY **** it's just not possible on xbox, even with the gear I have. I can kill deathclaws easily enough, as I just discovered, BUT I've been killing the wrong deathclaws. I thought the promontory was on the west side. Dx

But what about the Cazadores? Those things are mean, no way will I be able to go through a cave of those things to get a HELMET.

Cazadores aren't that bad once you get past level 15 or so.

Yeah as far as I'm aware, you can't mod the Xbox version - Microsoft's terms of usage bans changing the content in any way, sadly.

As for Cazadores, they can be a bit annoying until about the halfway point, but even then, in large groups, they can be difficult - melee weapons aren't a good idea and neither are sniper rifles due to the Cazadore's speed and unpredictability of movement (not impossible, just difficult).

If you're using energy weapons, Pew Pew is the way to go, but the Multiplas Rifle is great, as is the heavy incinerator.

Obviously, using the entymologist perk would be a bonus. If you haven't got them already, go and kill lots of radscorpions and get the BugStomper perk to add some extra damage.

You can damage the Cazadore's antennae to make them frenzy and attack anything nearby (easier to do with explosives).

Get Boon and E.D.E. as companions; sneak around the cave and keep looking through the sights of your weapon (Boon's perk will make the enemies glow to see them easier and he can attack them from a nice distance away). E.D.E. will increase your perception to detect the enemies easier; try and draw them out in small groups instead of one large crowd.

There's also a ledge in the cave that you can stand on and snipe the Cazadores from - if you have to use a Sniper Rifle and you're a good shot. If you get discovered, though, the damn moths are liable to creep up the cavern behind you (the legendary Cazadore mostly gets stuck in the cavern leading up there because his ass is too fat to fit through).
