xSanityControlx
Ummm i would love a custom hair on my Moonshadow character, however every hair mod I have DOES NOT WORK with this race. There is only one hairmod that seems to work and that is the moonshadow hair and eyes. I would like to use the all in one hair mod that consists of rens KDs corean and a bunch of others. But they do not even show up on the list. Help would be appreciated.
Hickory
That is becaue custom races have to be assigned hair, and mods that add hair to default races don't work with custom races. The only way to add all of those hairs to the Moonshadow elves would be to edit the race in the CS, adding the (installed) hairs.
chakaru11
Basically, you have to open up the construction set and assign every single hair. Meaning that you create every single hair in the race mod by finding the mesh and the matching texture. If you are working with the construction set for the first time, there's an easier method. Open the Moonshadow Elves mod as the "active mod" but also open the hair mod you want. Now combine both plugins and give it a new name. Now, if you open the "characters - >hair" tab, there is a HUGE list of hairs. Keep that window open. Now go to the "characters" tab again, choose "race" and find the moonshadow elves in the list. Open the second tab (I think it's general body data). There's a list of eyes and hairs on the right of that tab. Now drag and drop the hairs from the hair window into the hair list on the tab of the race window. DONE. :) This way, the hairs are already there and you do not have to search for the meshes and textures to put them together. But be aware that merging mods can sometimes lead to errors, although adding hairs should not do any harm.
