legionpower
Hey can somebody please help? I noticed that when I got my companion and everytime I aim down my sights, the enemy is highlighted in a glow of red, probably to indicate that they're hostiles or something. It really isn't that useful, and it's just annoying and breaks the immersion into the game. Is there already a mod for this? Or can somebody please fix this and make a simple mod that removes this red highlighting on enemies?
sparqz
its the Spotter perk you get from Boone, I'm not sure if it can be turned off with the GECK or not.

Yeah I just realized that it's a Boone-only trait, but it's really annoying and I love Boone. Is anyone up to the task?
Taolan13
The whole point of the red glow is he is identifying the enemies for you. Idea that comes to mind would be to create an ESP that replaces the scripting on his perk... maybe replace it with the sensor perk from ED-E? (unless you use everybody's favourite Eyebot. I renamed mine from ED-E to "Eddie" for when he's upgraded. I'll share the .esp if anybody is interested.
legionpower
I understand why the spotter perk would be useful, but I personally find it very distracting and breaks the immersion.
Park77
I wonder if it would/could be easier just to use remove in a console. Try typing: player.removeperk 0015c60c in the console See if that works. Might be irritating though if you frequently dismiss him.
Aragron
removing the perk is quite easy... this will remove the perk every time you receive it.
