Servalion
After playing FO3 and NV for a good while and seeing multiple mods that decrease the exp you get by percentages, I've at least figured that there's some set amount of exp that one can land, and that it must be adjusted to effect everything that grants it as a whole (enemies, quests, cracking computers/locks, etc). A simple tweak. Plenty of mods already lessen the amount of exp you get, but I've been considering the option of giving more. Why? Leveling's easy enough already, right? Why make it easier, almost to the point of cheating? Well, to offset the challenge of foes that are x2-x4 times tougher. I'm working on a mod that will significantly rise the Hit points of just about everything out there, and making key NPCs and Boss type characters much tougher. But I need to add some incentive for the added difficulty and the exp seemed like the right way to go. So, where do I go into the GECK to find what I seek? Aragron
See the perks "SwiftLearner" and "BloodyMess"(Editor ID). the first mods exp,the second all damage the player do.
Borch1d
Hmm , you could also hit it up from another angle. In the geck goto Gameplay/Settings Type iXPBumpBase into your filter window. By lowering this number (Someone please correct me if I am wrong) you can lower the XP ramp. For example by default Lv2 200lv3 350lv4 500 ect iXPBumpBase set to 100 Lv2 200Lv3 300Lv4 400 Otherwise look for the IXPRewardKill grouping which allows you to directly adjust the experience granted when a monster or npc is killed. I'd go with iXPBumpBase for ease of balancing but I hope that helped!
