Craigsters
I just removed nvidia physx from my computer since I'm not playing Mafia 2 right now, mafia 2 installed it I also removed it because I think it might be causing ctd's in my fallout New Vegas game!.. Is it ok to remove nvidia physx from my PC and does anyone know if it causes problem's in other PC games? My PC has a 1gb Radeon HD 4850 video card and 4 gb of DDR2 ram and is 32x with XP pro SP3 thank you hope I posted this in the proper part of the forum!.. prandiningrat
i think it's not nvidia physx fault. nvidia physx will not interfere with application that are not supported. nvidia physx not only used by games, some application like video converter when supported can help CPU converting or rendering video format to others. CommanderCrazy
As far as I know, ATi cards do not support PhysX.I could be wrong though, i've never owned one before.
Craigsters
Mafia 2 requires PhysX. and installed it and I already played mafia 2 on this PC with the physx installed and I finished and beat Mafia 2 and had no problems!..
CommanderCrazy
I recommend that you keep it on your system then.It can make the non-specific PhysX games look better. By non specific, I mean games that support it, but aren't dependent on it, like mafia 2 is.
