1st person height camera problem

i just started playing oblivion again, and i don't remember having this problem before.

The first person camera height is the right height when i load a game but as soon as i move the mouse the camera moves to double the height of my character, when i go to third person it is okay but then i go to first person and it broken again. i've tried disabling mods, deleting the settings to get them recreated.

 

Any help would be appreciated

Ive had this happen to myself as well but it usually happened after i used a specific animation mod and had the "spell" reflected back at me while i was in 1st person (some can also do this to if your char is in mid animation and you switch into first person while the animation is playing). Id attempt to use a "reset animation" feature if you have 1 while you are IN first person and see if that clears it up.

I Tried that i also started a new game with no mods and it still caused problems.

 

So i uninstalled & deleted the oblivion directory and the settings directory, reinstalled and it seems to be working okay now.
