LHammonds
You need to use a 3D modeling program and we have a 3D Modeling section on these forums. However, if you are not familiar with one of those tools already, you are not likely to find ANY tutorial that will show somebody how to create a New Vegas weapon in Blender from scratch with zero Blender experience. You typically have to learn the basics of the tool such as navigating, modeling techniques, UV mapping, etc. This can easily take anywhere from 1 to 3 months to get the basics. You then have to figure out the game engine-specifics such as havok modeling and settings, skinning/weight-painting to specific skeletons, export settings, texture settings, animation settings, etc. Once you have the NIF exported from the 3D modeling tool, there are often times you will need to tweak the NIF file using NifSkope...which is another tool you will need to become familiar with. MrLamar
Thank You for replying. I do know that there is a 3D Modeling Forum, But i thought it was more appropriate to create this thread here. I should have been more descriptive in my question. I know how to do 3D Modeling fairly decent, but i was just unaware of how to get the Models into the game and working properly. If i could get a guide on that, i would be very thankful. MrLamar
Sorry. I thought that since you mentioned Blender, you would assume that i was using it as my program. But yes i do use Blender. I need to know what to do with the model/file, where/how to put it into the data files, etc. Thanks
