Eyes missing problem.

I'm now moving toward a new theory that this might have been caused by incompatible skeletons. While I was trying to fix a crushed-chest bug, I tweaked the skeleton a lot to make Dual Sheath Reudx and Belt-fastened Quiver to work together. The process was a mess and it is very likely that I have created some incompatibility. For troubleshooting purpose, I have uninstalled Dual Sheath Redux, Belt-Fastened Quiver, XP32 skeleton, Realistic Ragdoll & Force, and all NPC / Follower mods that use standalone face meshes.

The goal is to enter character menu without seeing the misaligned eye mesh in the first eye color option. Wish me luck.

Everything appears to be normal. I am now back to square one but at least I think things are back to normal. At this point the priority is no longer figuring out the cause of the problem, but to do a clean and proper installation to ensure this does not happen again. To get back to the clean slate cost me much - my one and only character, along with her facegen data, her save files, and weeks worth of effort combining skeletons is now gone, but since the result was not perfect I supposed I never had what I thought I had in the first place.

I have written down all my slider settings so I might be able to rebuild my character's face.

Is there any way I can use Belt-Fastened Quiver, Dual Sheath Redux, and Enhanced Character Menu, and CBBE body without any glitch? Please let me know the proper steps to get these mods to work together, thank you.

Okay, I just realized how big of an idiot I was. I was under the impression that the only way to get skeletons to work was moving the nodes in Nifskope. It turns out that XP32 Maximum Skeleton provides everything I need. I simply have to choose the Frostfall option to get the belt-fastened quiver, and it is compatible with dual-sheath redux, and it even comes with an option that gives you a skeleton compatible with ECE. Dual sheath redux also has shield on back implemented already, so I didn't have to do anything... just install and play.

So, I have put everything back as clean as possible and ECE's eyes sliders all work without a hitch - so far the eye color option doesn't give me any mesh misalignment, which is a very good sign. Now comes the hard part... building my character's face back, and play it for at least an hour and see if the eyes problem returns.
