  1. OMG dude, thank you so much. This was stressing me out and I couldn't figure it out. I removed the simply knock mod and it worked for me. Thanks again.
  2. Hey, I am having the same problem. Please can you tell me the fix if you found it... please
  3. Why did not you want to set any rule in the first place ? The only thing you needed to do is : - Set rules in the MODS tab. When installing a mod that conflicts with another, you will see a red bolt on the icon beside that mod. Just click on that icon and setup your rule. What I do ( and the easiest way to do this ) is to click on the icon of the last mod installed and choose "load after" on every single mod that is conflicting with. If you try to setup ( for example ) : load after this one, load before that one, etc, etc, … you may get cycling errors. Just make sure that your mods are installed in the order they should. Follow S.E.P.T.I.M. load order and setup your rules as you are installing mods. Do not wait for all the mods to be installed to start dealing with rules so you will be very confused. - Make sure you have auto-sort enabled in the PLUGINS tab and Vortex will sort your PLUGINS accordingly …. it would not hurt though if you click on the Sort tab but it is not necessary … DO NOT use LOOT if you use Vortex auto-sort. - Play your game …. just because PLUGINS can be sorted independently ( and manually ) using Manage Dependencies or by groups ( using Groups ) does not means that you must use those functions and it has been recommended not to use them UNLESS you encounter problems in your game. I installed Skyrim last week and the above is exactly what I did so has been advised by Tannin in another thread. I also installed ( for the first time ) Fallout 4 last Friday and also I applied the above steps and my games are running accordingly, no cycling errors, no crashes, etc, etc. I am simple impress by the easiest way and simplicity Vortex is handling my games. I have played Fallout 4 during 17.5 hours already with 76 mods + my own 5 custom mods ( same amount and setup that I used in NMM ) and I have not had any problem of any type, neither when I was setting my game nor playing it. Plugins that before I was breaking my head with to place them where I thought I should or based on mod author's recommendation, are being now automatically sorted by Vortex and I have not had any problem at all. Those are worries of the past to be honest. No more " put this mod at the very bottom of your load to properly work ", etc, etc. ….. I am not paying attention to those statements but trusting Vortex blindly and so far so good. Flower Girls in Skyrim is not sorted at the bottom of my load order and it is running like a charm for example. Again, if you follow the above steps, you will be fine. Forget about what you did back with NMM / MO. Vortex is different. Hope this help and enjoy your game. Thank you for saving me wise one.
