Malchik
As a matter of interest how many out there have done all four of them?
Dagger of Symachus
I have. If I may say so myself, they are some of the most fun quests a guild can give. For starters you get over 20000 g(22000 to be exact). Plus if you love long blade, then one of your targets has a good unique long blade (Temreki:Shackler of Souls). Another one carrys a daidric dagger, which is good for any assasin! :D But it is one of the hardest quests the Morag Tong gives you. But it is a lot of fun. Oh and for a really big tip: if you are trying to get the "writs" (so you won't have to taunt the people) beat the Morag Tong quests before beating the main quest. If you are the grandmaster and have done all the other writs, then go beat the main quest and then come back to any Morag Tong quest giver (eg: Ethasi Rivayn in Balmora, Goren Andarys in Ald'ruhn,Dunsalipal Dun-Ahhe in Sadrith Mora, and you can't report to the "real" grandmaster, since he is all ready dead by your blade, or left to go and retire at the mainland). And if you all ready beat the main quest then send me a private message. I can tell you who you are supposed to kill and then you just kill them and go to any of those quest givers and they will give you the money (if you are worried about a getting a price on your head then don't worry. You get a TON of gold for doing this quest. The least being 3000 septims on the weakest person. So just stay away from guards and pay the fine after getting payment. Oh and also one you can't get reported on even though they live in a urban area). Hope this helps if your trying to do them or if your just curious if it is possible to beat them and my answer is yes.
Malchik
Hi. It's curiosity really. I have done them too but I'm not sure if they are very obvious. I wondered if perhaps people did not even know about them! You are the only one to have said yes so far.
Dagger of Symachus
Well I only know, since I have the guide and had been hearing rumors about "gray" writs. But they are a lot of fun. I hope you had as much fun as me. But they are hard though.
tmons78
Yes, I also knew about them as well. As to whether or not I have actually completed them is another story. In fact, I had forgotten about them until I read this, so I am off to go kill me some more people. Thanks! :D
Switch
I knew about them also... never did them though. Mainly because the only time I was in the Morag Tong was back in the days when I cheated, so I never bothered to finish it all off, got bored too fast. :P
Dagger of Symachus
I can see what you mean switch. Out of all the factions (not counting East Empire Company, but you need Bloodmoon for that and I play on XBox) I think it is the hardest faction. They send you into some of the most dangerous locations on Vvardenfell. I mean I think (counting sanguine items) you have to go to like ten daedric ruins. One is even IN Red Mountain. It would be hard to find if you haven't defeated Dagoth Ur. Even when I had done that and have the guide it was still hard to find (once in Red Mountain it took me about an hour). But you should really try them. But be very careful. All of them are high level npcs. I think they are all about level 30 or so. I don't know for sure (since I don't have the construction set), but one I know is level 44! But switch you have to try them. They are so much fun. thanateros
The Morag Tong are deffinitely my favorite guild of all. First, just to find them (without cheating or looking up hints), takes a lot of inquiring and a bit of luck. Next you get to kill people, and what's cooler, you get a little piece of paper making it legal. I also love keeping them around after a kill assuming I don't get caught. No other faction appeals to me more than they do, they're just wicked fun to play. Does anyone know if you can purchase or get either the Morag Tong helm or armor without killing anyone? Dagger of Symachus
Sorry thanateros. You have to kill one of three people to get the nice looking Morag Tong helm. I think one of them is in there "headquarters" (no cheats here) or in there guild hall in Sadrith Mora. But I've gotten one once when I went on a killing spree and man it looks WICKED. And I agree that the Morag Tong is the best faction. I mean you get to KILL :D . And there quests are (like I said above) some of the most diffacult in the different factions from the original game. And the "nice" slips of paper that make it all legal are VERY nice :D.
Pack Rat
I like the Thieves guild too... I play the quests only at night with my dark brotherhood armor and try to ge there undetected ( just a mather of not having any witnesses seeying me go there ) and if someone catches me, mostly a guard, i kill him...
