est
Hi guys, Are there any existing FNV mod allows you to recruit any NPC as companion? Or is it possible to do it just using console commands? TIA

ThePHD
The guy who made Sharing and Caring Companions for Fallout 3 says he is making a version for New Vegas. It should be out soon enough. Just give it some time. Source : http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2399 Check the comments.

The companion wheel doesn't work. And AFAIK there is no way to make an "recruited" NPC follow you.
jmarine81
http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34870 I dont know if this allows you to recriut anyone...but it does allow you to have more than 1 or 2 whatever it is Edited November 21, 2010 by jmarine81
possumboy1
Some console commands can simulate this. - Spawn anyone/thing - 'addscriptpackage 4083b' (will make selected target follow you) - (Look into) 'setenemy'. Use this command to make target hostile to whatever faction your going against to simulate that he is protecting you - setscale to .8 (cuz its nice to have a little sidekick ) Edited August 14, 2013 by possumboy1
bakerb4379
- (Look into) 'setenemy'. What do you mean by '(Look into)'? Like select it via clicking or the 'prid' command? Also, does this make the NPC fight whatever is hostile towards me, or only what has undergone a 'setenemy'?
Zerkoz
1-Spawn whatever you want. (player.placeatme <id> <number you want>) OR if pre-existing, skip to next.2-Click on them in console commands3-removefromfaction <id of faction that they belong to> (Optional but could be useful)4-addtofaction 1b2a4 0 (This will make them friendly)5-stopcombat (If they were hostile)6-setplayerteammate 17-addscriptpackage 4083b (They'll follow you)8-gbo9-setessential <id from gbo> 1 (They'll be immortal) Sadly, the companion wheel will not work. But if you use groovatron, you can do all of the same things. The wait's a little iffy, but it works. Update: Wait doesn't work, as far as I can tell. You don't need setessential or removefromfaction. Also, if you resurrect them, you have to put in #7 again. Hope this helps! Update: You have to re administer #7 every time you come back in. Update: I've only used it on creatures so I'm not sure, but I think that the only way to get them out of companion service is to kill and/or disable them. Update: I would recommend this for 1-3 things at a time. Any more and it's a chore. Definitely be on the look-out for a mod that does it better. Found it. http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/50468/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fnewvegas%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D50468%26preview%3D&pUp=1 Takes a little bit of getting used to, but it works just fine.
