The things this game missing

1:Animal riding.If no horses are there so brahmin or something.

2:Carriage.I mean caravan carriages.Yes brahmin can carry a lot I guess.

But it would be great to see some actual caravan carriage.Cass quest shows busted

caravans with those I believe.

3:It would be great great to hire a caravan to transport your stuff.Yes there is Mohave Express

but what if nearest station is far?

4:By the way it would be great to have some quests with Courier work.

5:would it fit the lore to get this song in the game?

He-he just kidding there. ^^

You could always make that song for the main menu or at the launcher so you can decide for yourself pal.Can't tell you about it being an ambient song though.I remember i was working with some battle songs at one time and it was kinda hard implementing them.

I did start a little mod (a long time ago) to have your own caravan and do some trading.....but sort of lost interest in it. It's called DIY Caravan WIP. Here is a pic of some of the brahmin;

There is a mod that adds courier quests already. Haven't tried it though. I'm also thinking of adding some to my Courier Stations mod once the main part is done. I'm thinking of having it send you to some of the side quest NPCs to give you a logical reason to visit them.

But besides merchanct caravans and their little wagons, you can have people pushing shopping carts full of their wares on the strip (kind of like the flick "the road") possibly along the asphalt roads in the greater desert as well (but probably only good on paved surfaces), specialty vendor carts with sun umbrellas in the strip (like you see on hotdog carts), a kid dragging a little red radioflyer wagon, a floor polisher piled high full of junk and following a vendor or in a caravan, etc. Lots of junk to make.

 

I'd also like to add some bots carrying junk in caravans, maybe some additional creatures like bighorners in the caravans that travel north bound. Just kind of shake things up a bit, and add a little variety.

You don't have to just wait, you can add ideas or request items for the cart mod. Let me know what you'd like to see.

Coolio :) I remember I made a hotdog stand with umbrella and all in Nipton Rebuilt with some existing meshes (if memory serves it was the aircraft service thingamabob in the GECK with the one umbrella stapped on top). I also have a mesh of a shopping cart with crates inside in my resources, although it's a static assembled in Nifskope so I dunno how useful it would be. Anyhoo, yes! I need to have some Brahmin cart races in my game too, like in Fast & Furious :laugh:
