probably just wishful thinking...

So I'm probably hoping for something that is impossible, but then again, I never thought something like fnvedit would be possibly until I found it. SO! maybe this exists and I don't know of it, or maybe someone with a lot of skill can take the project on:

I am really hoping for a mod that will tell me what textures or meshes I'm missing that are causing the BigRedExclaimationMark in game. If it could point out the mod that is missing SOMETHING, then maybe I can get on the nexus and figure out what it is that I need. Because there are some instances where I simply can NOT find out what will fill the gaps...

Pretty sure it can be done. I've been away from NV for a long time but if I ever have some time I'll consider making this.

Anyway, if any other mod author out there has time and skill for that go ahead and do it. Don't be discouraged because I just said I'm willing to do it if I ever find the time to.

Hit "~" while in-game, click on the object with the floating red mesh, note the first two numbers, open up Fallout Mod Manager or Nexus Mod Manager and see which those first two numbers correspond to which mod.

+1.

I might as well have just added this lol. It's the old way of doing that. I'm not used to using this method because I simply never need to, but it definitely works.

I was pretty sure you cannot select the error markers through the console. I have this mod installed that lets you do that.

You could always retexture it lime-green so it can be more visible

Interesting. If I remember correctly this wasn't necessary in Oblivion, which is the game where I saw an exclamation mark for the last time :D.

I mostly just grabbed it so it would be less on an eyesore during my own personal mod testing. I mean, when you get something like this, it just hurts your eyes, ya know?

ahahaha i dont disagree with ya jokerine. thats just painful!

as for your mod suggestion, I'm more into fixing the issue than just revealing the eye sore :P but thanks for the suggestion
