My Oblivion just doesn't look good...

(Sry for my bad english)

Hello guys,

I'm new to modding in Oblivion and I see so many pictures of Oblivion characters of others that looks just AMAZING.

In my Oblivion the face, the body and the textures just don't get anywhere nearly as amazing as in the pictures.

How do I improve the graphics?

My characters are looking like something very bad happened to their face.

I tried many mods, too many, everything still looks bad. I have a big mod-chaos now and I have to reinstall it 'cause I'm to lazy to remove the file by myself.

I'm using a mod for my NPC's too, but they still don't look very natural. (Somehow I just don't like Ren's beauty)

Which mods do I need to make my Oblivion look better overall?

And are there some good Adult mods exept of Sexlivion, Posepacks and Estrus?

I have some links to show you what I mean:

I really tried get the things by my self, but I'm still a noob I guess...

Help is appreciated.

Thanks

It sounds like part of the problem may be your graphics settings. Most of the pictures you'll see of character models and environments on mod sites and stuff will show them with the settings turned way up. Oblivion requires a lot of resources to run at it's highest settings, and I've always had to sacrifice a bit in the visual department to get good performance on my PC. I noticed that the character faces and body textures are one of the first things the program will reduce the quality of if you let it decide what the settings should be for "optimal performance" on your PC. In other words, there may not necessarily be anything wrong with your game, I would check the graphics settings and see if they've been automatically set to a lower quality by your PC.

Well I'm using the Highest settings in Oblivion right now.

The lips always looked strange, overall textures still doesn't look that good, but I can see Improvements now, thanks!

But still, my heads just never look good, are there any real mods for the Head?

(Lips looking strange, can't really get the eyes into the desired positions, the textures have other colours than the body etc.)

And how do I use the Dark Illusion Armor? I installed everything how i should, but wenn I want to equip it, my character turns invisible.

On some screenshot I can see that the colours are more intense and the egdes are more "Borderline-Like", how do I do that?

Ah, I see what you're saying. Sorry if I misunderstood before. =D

I don't know if this will help you or not, but I use the Construction Set for a precious few things, and one things I've done is replace the default "Player" face with a more attractive existing face from an existing NPC using the copy and paste functions, and then just make some minor tweaks here and there till I happy. The default faces are very neanderthal looking and downright hideous, it makes it hard to make a pretty looking face. It's much easier to take a relatively attractive face and make some adjustments. All my default male faces look like Martin Septim now and I've used the face of Augusta Calida (sp?) from the Tiber Septim inn. I agree, for all the options available, the face editor in Oblivion is really hard to work with, and I'm so thankful for playing the game on the PC where I've been able to go in with the console later and make much needed changes.
