Hi everyone,

 

I created a mod which adds the possibility to craft a scoped minigun. However, when I aim with it, the scope does not appear, it's just a zoom like vanilla weapon but not like a sniper.

WTF am I doing wrong here?

well, did you check the scope in the GECK??

you see, when you open the weapon in the GECK, in the Art and Sound tab, at the bottom there is a box named Has Scope

now, you need to make sure that your minigun does have a scope, and you need to give it a scope model for it to work

just look at how scopes are made for let's say sniper rifles, and do the same for your gun

Yes I checked the scope in GECK, I checked the Has Scope box and I used a vanilla meshes for this scope but it does not work :'(

well, i think i spotted your problem

you see, you checked the box that adds the scope as a weapons' mod, but it has no mod that adds a scope

you either need to uncheck that box, and it will always you the scope, or add a mod that adds the scope (which should go along with the increase zoom effect)

glad i was able to help

 

though if i may make a suggestion (not sure if you did it or not)

replace the main file to hold the new fixed esp, so that people will only need to get 1 file

i think it will be better
