So yeah, I've recently got into TV serials(one to be more specific) and I am curious what serials other people like or simply know about.

I am realy into Supernatural right now (addict heheh) and I used to watch Heroes and Prison Break before. What are you into?

well, i don't think it's such an even poll

in my opinion, you can't really ask which show is better, is all the shows are so different

if it was between shows of the same type (like SyFy shows, or the such) then it would have been much easier to answer

however, i can always recommend on the ones that i have seen and liked

so, if you have some time, and wouldn't mind some mindless laughing, Two and a half men is more than worth your time

spoken from someone who has watched all of the episodes, aside from the last one or two to come out (and there are well over 140 of them, if not 180)

the show is really lots of fun, and it's great to get sucked in

also, if you really want to sink into a good show that will blow your mind, Lost is one of your safest bets

from someone who has watched it all, and enjoyed the s*** out of it, i would strongly recommend it, for just how great it is

on another note, if you can specify a genre you like, i might be able to recommend some good shows for you, as i have watched and do watch so many of them

Two and a half man is one of the best of it's kind, I agree with you on this one. I've seen some episodes, randomly as I was never aware of the hour they broadcast it over here. I had more than a good laugh, no matter what episode I saw, those guys are just awesome. I might consider giving it more attention once I am done with Supernatural.

Hmm, Lost, well I don't know about this one. I'm more into SF, than action. So if you know any good ones feel free to share, I won't mind.

Some friends of mine, told me of a rather new serial, called Spartacus, but from what I've heard the main actor is sick(cancer or something as bad, poor guy) so I don't know if they'll continue with it. So far, my friends told me, it has only around 13 or so episodes, few for a serial. I'll wait and see what happends. Now that I mentioned it, I think I'll also like one that's inspired from history of mythology so if you know any, like I said, feel free to share.

Cheers,

Pushkatu!

well, i watched most of Two and a half men online, so i was able to watch all the episodes, whenever i wanted to

{site removed by me] is the one where i watched all the episodes (i hope it's ok to link this)

if you want to, you can watch all the episodes through there

now, i have to say, i am not much of a SyFy fan myself, i am much more into fantasy and such

however, i do know about the Spartacus you speak of

i actually watched the show

the first few episodes were rather bad, but it turned out to be an actually good show, so if you can, you should give it a try (though like i said, the firs few episodes give it a bad impression, with the use of silly overdone action (like watching a man run through the seasons) but the rest is really good)

and yeah, the actor is sick, at least as far as i know

i know that he was supposed to make another season, then they found out he was sick, but then he was better, and they decided to do the season, but then he got sick again (or something complicated like this)

anyhow, now they are working on a prequal to the first season, and maybe they will later on make a sequal to season 1, if the actor get's well enough, which i hope he does

and if i'll think of a good show to recommend, i'll be sure to do it :)

Thanks for your quick reply and for the link. I don't think it's bad that you posted it. Remove it if just in case, I already have it saved. I have seen some sort of trailer of Spartacus and I got the same feeling you mentioned, that it's a little rushed. They pass from a scene to another to fast and that might confuse people, but I have considered giving it a try. My friends will be quite happy to have another one around that likes the serial. :whistling: They've infected me with Supernatural virus to, but I am still far behind(season 2), while they are expecting the new episodes of season 6. Anyway, once again thanks for your replies, here's your well earned kudos.

Have a nice weekend,

well, thank you very much :)

i hardly think i am worthy of the Kudos, but i will accept it with honor

it's nice to be appreciated by such an esteemed member of out community

and i'll try to do as i said, and recommend some good shows for you

though i can recommend a few from the top of my head

if you like drama shows, then Mad Men is one of the best i have seen

i am still in the third season, and there are four of them, but it is really awesome, and deserves the awards it got

also, if you like war tv shows, then HBO has made some awesome shows that you are sure to like

you may know Band of Brothers, and there is also the new The Pacific, and in between i think, they made Generation Kill, which is a more modern (the first two are about WWII, while the third is about Iraq of Afghanistan, can't really remember)

and i'll write of more when i'll recall the good ones

I still see no Firefly up there. It's the best Sci-FI out there, topping even Star Trek.

I think that if I modify the poll now it will reset the votes.

@WA: I'll check Band of Brothers and The Pacific, thanks once more.

I miss Stargate SG1, probably the best Sci-fi series ever IMO. I admit it wasn't as good after Richard Dean Anderson left the cast. Atlantis wasn't as good, and this new SGU series is kinda lame. The good thing about SG1 is each show was like a separate story line, for the most part, you could miss one show and come back and watch next week and not be completely out of the loop as to what was going on.
