CemeteryN7
I just watched the newest movie the other day and got to thinking, is there any good harry potter-esk mods/overhauls out there. Hogwarts, Quidditch, etc. I thought it would be an interesting idea and decided to post it and see what you all thought. Also the more I thought, I've noticed that there are a lot of things for fighters, some things for stealthy characters, but not much for magic users; yes there is Midas Magic and those but something that brings life to mages/wizards and that sort. Sorgren
No way, it´s impossible anybody ever makes Hogwarts for Oblivion, it´s just too big.Although it would be cool Edited November 22, 2010 by dragonsnout
bben46
And it also seems that Ms Rowling has a rabid law firm that has earned the reputation of attacking anyone that uses anything to do with the HP universe that is not paying royalties. Including some fan fiction that she (or they ) disapprove of. They have been known to send cease and desist orders for such mods as you are asking for. Just using the words Ha**y Po**er, Quid**ch or Hog***ts :whistling: on the internet gets their attention  And they may start watching to see if anyone is using her property in any way she disapproves of. So, ask for your mod. just don't use any of the 'special' words from her books in that mod. Now just to make it fun. She is being sued back by someone claiming SHE stole their story. And it looks bad for her as the story was actually written several years before hers.
CemeteryN7
That's why I added the esk mod, I wasn't asking for a direct rip off, just the idea sort of. You see where I'm getting at.
majikmonkee
Nobody can claim the rights to the idea of having your toon attend a magic establishment and use their magic skills to combat an evil force hoping to overthrow the mages. Actually, that sounds a little like doing the regular mage's guild quests with a newly rolled character. And we can discuss HP, we just need to use code words instead like Hairy Pooter and Hogfarts and Quidouch. I guarantee the rabid legal team isn't googling those words.
