"The House Always Wins III" bug.

After I return the platinum chip to House and accept the mission to befriend the Boomers, his securitrons will turn hostile and start attacking me after the dialogue ends, thus causing the entire questline to fail. From this point on, Mr. House terminal becomes non-responsive. I have no idea why they do this. I can't find anything on this, even on the Wiki. Has anyone else encountered this?

 

This is not the same bug as the *other* House questline bug where the turrets in Vault 11 are flagged as the same faction as House.

Hmm.....the only mod I can think of that might be interferring with the default scripts fro this questline is the Community Bug Fixes Compilation Patch. That's the only mod I am running that does more than just a small fix, cosmetics, or adds custom item. Are you running CBFCP as well?

 

Another explaination might be that I am also trying to play multiple sides through this questline....so trying to carry out missions for the Legion, the NCR, and Yes Man--although I haven't triggered the "Don't tred on the bear" and its Legion equivalent warning.

 

A third explaination might have something to do with the unfinished quests in the game. I activated two "Lucky 38 override" terminals. I had no idea what they did at the time.
