Bow and arrow

I'm wondering if this is even possible. I was thinking, take a combination of a grenade and a spear, do some animation... have 3 types of arrows; normal, fire, blunt/EMP. Kinda a short range, silent, use the physics from the throwing weapons for the arrows.

 

Even doable? I totally miss realistic bows...

i think you will need some serious animations for such

 

however, there was a great crossbow for FO3, so i think that it might be possible to make a crossbow with different arrows

in fact, it might actually fit the game great!! :)

A crossbow would be nice, too. I was just playing Oblivion and I think this would make for a great addition... maybe some of that can be carried over...

well, the biggest problem with normal bows is animating them, which should prove rather hard (especially implementing them into the game)

 

but i'll see if i can get the permissions to use the crossbow, and try to make a good mod of it

It would be a great idea, a crossbow with explosives, poisening & scratch NPC on wall, like crucifiction ^^

Well, crossbows ought to be easier because of the crafted one in FO3 already has the animations.

the author of the FO3 crossbow mod Davidriggs said that he will port his crossbow to NV soon, so he will do so

after he will, if needed, i'll see about crafting arrows (if he won't do so already, that is)
