WizardOfAtlantis
One day, I hiked over the hills west of Goodsprings and found...nothing. A vast, rolling expanse of undecorated, bland, repetitive blank map...and I was still well on the map according to my pipboy. No ground textures, no trees, no grasses, just...the Nothing. For the love of the gods of open-ended gaming, is someone more able than I going to do something about this? I understand adding onto the border regions of a map (oblivion's got great examples) but the need to fill out the in-game, on-pipboy map to me seems absolutely ridiculous, as if the game dev's needed another couple of months to fill out the game. A huge west strip of land on the pipboy map is just blank, as if they were depending on quests to keep everybody's eyes tilted to the right on the pipboy worldmap....or maybe invisible walls to keep out the unmodded. Hellsbells, though, if it's on my Pipboy, I should be able to go there...and see more than the Nothing! No? :yucky:
SealJuice
Man those guys are sooo sloppy. I have found so many obvious bugs and just plain developer laziness. It's an isnult to the Fallout Franchise. Outrage, I say!
Rhapshady
Perhaps its a bug? Try reloading your game again. Did you cheat by any chance? Or did you Console Teleport (Lazy) Sometimes cheats have an effect on the game. Side note: Apparently, The spell check checks "Teleport"
WizardOfAtlantis
A bug? Really? Could that be possible? What is to the west of Goodsprings, to the edge of the Pipboy map, in anybody else's game? I don't use cheats. Ruins the game for me. But I have to say, I never considered the possibility that it could be a bug! I'll have to hike over there again tonight.
