BootyhunterzX
Could someone give me detailed instructions on how to install the NVSE after I download it and how to use mods developed for it?
Fonger
[ Installation ] 1. Copy the .dll and .exe files to your Fallout NV directory. This is usually in your Program Files folder under Steam\SteamApps\common\fallout new vegas\. If you see files named FalloutNV.exe and FalloutNVLauncher.exe, this is the correct folder. Do not copy these files to the Data folder as with a normal mod. The "src" folder is only useful for modders, most users can ignore it. 2. Launch NV as you normally would via Steam. Note that the "Enable Steam Community In-Game" option must be enabled in the "In-Game" tab of the Steam options for NVSE to work correctly. kaburke
Go to: http://nvse.silverlock.org/Download the newest version to your desktop.Open nvse_1_beta5.zip with WinRAR/7zip/programme of your choice.Extract the following files to your FO:NV folder (the folder containing the falloutnv.exe file):nvse_1_1.dllnvse_editor_1_1.dllnvse_loader.exenvse_steam_loader.dll[*] Launch NV as you normally would (using Steam, FOMM, or what have you). Note that the "Enable Steam Community In-Game" option must be enabled in the "In-Game" tab of the Steam options for NVSE to work correctly. To use mods that use NVSE, simply install them as you would install any other mod. Edited December 7, 2010 by kaburke

Radrunner
Does the game even start? if its crashing on start up there may be a mod conflict. Disable all of them and add one by one til you find the trouble one...

Cyberlazy
http://nvse.silverlock.org/ says: 1. 2. Launch NV via running nvse_loader.exe. Enabling the Steam Community option (enabled by default) will allow you to launch the game via Steam's standard UI.
