Workarounds are frowned upon and Violates EULAs, so don't ask for it.

In this case, Steam is the DRM for FNV, so asking for a 'workaround' Steam is basically asking for a crack to the game (in other words, in case you didn't know your request was in violation of site rules, you do now).

 

Now, I am not happy that Bethesda/Obsidian choose Steam as the DRM (although that seems to be the dominant trend for PC game publishers as it allows them to externalize and streamline things like patch hosting and patching), but there it is.

Nothing wrong with 'Steam' ................OK can become highly over subscribe especially round the release of new titles, still been using Steam service for many wonderful years....

I must admit I dont like steam but hey "c'est la vie"...The onje thing I do like though is not having to go look for patches anymore...but then again thats crap if your internet sucks...
