I always try and lock on to a target before attacking, however the game target lock system is difficult enough use when one isn't in combat. So yes WASD based system would give the player far better control.

Start the Witcher2 Luancher go into options [ Red Engine] makesure 'show advance option is ticked' Set - Fullscreen to Enable set - same as your desktop. OK to exit - Now run game, if game drops into Window mode, try reduce the Window specification in option panel. My desktop is 1920 x 1080; I run Witcher2 in full screen @ 1600 x 900 Also remember the User.ini is in located both in User/Documents/Witcher2/Config and Steam/SteamApps/Common/Witcher2/Config not sure if both locations are equal, one may over ride the other. The key is accually F4 not F2, the modder assigned the VB key 115 which is F4 and not F2 as they indicated in the Description and Read Me txt.

I've always had Nexus download file location and the Nexus mod manager file location scanned by Avast system start up scan, I think I'll start scanning downloads from Nexus in real time.

Start a new game, and if you feel the need add any perks and abilities lost via the console. But as it has been stated before you've completed a very small amount of Skyrim. Also the mission you're talking about isn't that important.

I believe there is data regarding Skyrim/Modes held in C:\Users\users-name\AppData\Local\Skyrim. if App folder doesn't show up, you'll need to change the settings to 'show hidden files/folders'

I'd work at getting Vanilla Skyrim, that's Skyrim with HD DLC, but without anyother mods that including 'DawnGuard' running first without a hitch.

I find Alt-Tab into any active Window, then closing them all using the [big X top right] drops me back into Skyrim with a no mouse pointer.

if you are still getting CTD - try this its 'abit out of the box' http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/installed_codec.html and download 'InstalledCodec' link bottom page. Read the guide on Webb site to guide to get Installedodec' up and running. Basically from within 'InstalledCodec' program; you'll see whole list of 'Video/Audio' Codecs that have been installed on your machine and amazingly not all are compatible with each other or more importantly with Skyrim. Disable all Codec that are not under Company listing as 'Microsoft', also you may have codec from company called 'Fraunhofer institut' these to also needs to remain abled. This solved my issue of CTD, which was soon as my character touched any water within Skyrim! Bam CTD

Having the same problem, Creation kit loads upto point of 'Windows.........' this isn't a case of having too waiting as the 'Creation kit' stops working! Thanks Steve40 for your answer, however I don't get the option to give all parties full control, whilst editing the permissions fot each user group I'm unable to allow full control to sub group 'Creator/owner', Creation kit still not loading any further help would be most welcome. Sorry should remember to scroll up the page - OrganicView point about removing ENB ( and d3d9.dll ) was spot on.

Silly question not sure but does this mod [no_essential_COs.esp] mean that 'essential' plot characters can be killed? then just maybe during 'Battle for Whiterun' a game main plot essential character is been killed off.

[ Problem seems to linked to changes in the Static mesh, just removed all mods that make changes to Static mesh system, it would also be wise to remove any appropriate folders from 'Skyrim/Data' - Game loads and kind of runs, now to deal with SKSE, and Script Dragon. Ok all Working fine.......
