Patching Beautiful People

Ah, I finally found what was making inverse vampire eyes. It was this mod: http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/22429-name-beautiful-people/ However, I don't want to completely uninstall it because I'm using some other stuff afforded by it. Therefore, the only solution is to patch it to have another vampire eye mod, say, this one: http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35576 Though really, any red vampire eye mod, even vanilla, probably, will do. Oh, and simply deleting the eyevampire file doesn't seem to have any effect. I need an actual patch. Thanks in advance to the person who undertakes this apparently difficult yet crucial mod.

Excuse me? You mean you want to use RV Vampire Eye texture with Beautiful People? You have to convert eye texture to fit Elaborate Eye meshes if the texture is for different eye meshes.

- The author of Elaborate Eyes released modder's resource in PSD file.

- And there's more simple conversion template.

- Sizuru's texture converter can do quick and dirty conversion, though It cannot handle texture larger than 256*256px(you'll have to search for that. I remember the URL was often posted on Narulivion, but I can't find that right now).

**Download it here. You need Java and texconv.exe(from DirectX SDK) to run it.

And If you want some eye textures for EE, there're several eye addons and modder's resources out there. You can grab any texture you like, replace vampire eye texture with that.

You can replace vampire eye texture by:

1. replacing eye_vampire.dds

2. Editing plugin to assign non-default vampire eye texture(That's how Elaborate Eyes changed all default eyes).

Just convert non-EE eye texture you want to use, then edit plugin to use that.

Well, the first option is clearly out as that's the first thing I tried, but it didn't seem to affect anything. The second one... Editing plugin? Also, I managed to finished two files called vampNrmDefault.dds and vampNrmDefault_g.dds in my Bethesda\Oblivion\Data\Textures\characters\Nequam\Eyes folder. Would deleting these two finally solve my vampire eye issue or would that just bug up Beautiful People? Edited by MidbossVyers

Don't delete them. If eyeVampire uses them, you will get 'Black Eye' bug for missing textures. You need to use Construction Set to edit .esp file.
