Adrian Laguna
*Stares at the smoking ruins that were once cities**Spots some movement, zaps it with a Lightning Bolt**Shares some Dagoth Brandy with best pal Dagoth Ur* You don't mean to say killing is bad do you? In any case destroying cities would be a lot more fun if you could actually blast buildings to pieces. *Imagines Vivec sinking into the bay after several special spells into its foundations*
Malchik
Read Otherworld by Tad Williams! I'm not sure that killing (in the game I'm talking about) is 'bad' as such. But since it is so easy to wipe out the population of Morrowind it just seems rather pointless. Also I do wonder if we get so used to it, if we sometimes don't see other societies in the real world as 'npcs' rather than live people. But that is definitely off topic, so I'm not going to pursue it here.
Bad_Skeelz
I remember when I wiped out the merchants and townsfolk of Gnisis, along with a good portion of the Legion stationed there, over a pair of pants. That guy just woudln't give them back! So of course I had to kill him, then the 3 guards who came after me, then the guy who wouldn't accept the pants because I killed 4 people, then the merchants who looked at me funny, then that girl in her house, then the girl in the bar (standing on the table slashing wildly sure was fun) then the bar tender...then 3 guys downstairs before finally being taken down by General Darius and his orc friend. Anyway, be warned that some natrually aggressive characters have some part in the story line. I met a barbarian in a tomb near Ebrisiumum(sp) camp who, upon killing I received a polite little message saying I had doomed the world or whatnot. My assualt on the Temple in Vivec also broke the string of prophecy a few times... <_<
Rune
That outpost is nothing important in the game. There's one orc who does not attack you though. Just kill the fools and steal their armor. :D

Dradum_Fairoak
Gnisis' townsfolk are strangely easy to kill. I also wiped out everyone walking around outside, the only one who gave me any hassle was the guy situated RIGHT outside the temple, with his big warhammer. The guards were pathetic. Adrian Laguna
The Gnisis guards are pathetic because of a mistake in their outfitting. They have Imperial Shortswords with a skill level below 10 for them. I think it was intended for them to have Imperial Broadswords instead, since their skill for that is somewhere in the 40s or 50s. There is a mod out there that fixes that, I don't know exactly where, though.
