Classic Problems

I have this game for a while, there are two issues I've been ignoring because I was concentrating on making custom contents. These two problems has grown to be quite annoying and I decided to get to the bottom of it. After hour of search with google and on popular forums, nothing of the sort came up so it seems that these old issues have been solved long time ago and nowadays there aren't any openly reachable documents on them. So I will break the jar again and ask:

1. Head show up in lighter color than the body in game, how to fix it? This is more than texture coloring as the head in NifSkope actually is a bit darker than the body.

2. When teleporting to a different location, custom companion(Using ResidentEvil's old Neeshka mod) will have two layers of the head mesh after arriving. Have to respawn the char by asking her to change equipment to get rid of the extra head. What is the typical fix for that?

Greatly appreciate any help or links resolving the two issues!

Thanks for the reply WastelandAssassin, regarding the first problem, let me put it this way, how do people create head and body textures that shows up in identical tone in game?

The first thing to understand is that when you create a new character in-game, you should select the 'Face' option and press the 'Reset' button. This forces the game to load the correct textures. Once you understand that, then it's time to install some beautification mods. The ones I use personally are (must be installed in this order for best effect):

IFT Improved Facial Textures

IAFT Improved Argonian Facial Textures

Facial Textures by Enayla

Better Looking Redguards

It is also important to use HDR in-game, else your textures (as well as most other lighting) will look ugly.

resetting facegen in game doesn't ask the game to reload or change any texture, it does sets all the shape and tone values to the default settings done in the race mod esp. My characters were made from an initially resetted state, in fact, in default value the difference is actually more appearent.
