an idea just came to my mind about a quest mod that gives the player the certain werewolf transformation abilities like in skyrim. say there was an experimental, Rare FEV virus that grants the subject the ability to change between forms. from human, to supermutant.

 

But then there would have to be a sort of ballancing downside, Hm? here are some possible downsides.

 

- vulnerability: Powerfull bone-crushing strength must have some sort of damaging effect to your health. using steroids will shrink your nuts, right? add a humanform debuff that will decrease the players health

 

- ghoulification: say this mutation leaves the subject horribly disfigured, this would probably effect speech, stamina, health, ETC. it could also decrease the limb health of the player.

I'm not sure about the concept per se, but the practical assets to achieve it are there (I think). We have a SM rigged to a human skeleton, and as far as a ghoul goes, that would just be a race change I think, so that the skin shader has the new necrotic texture to display.

What about a were-deathclaw?

When in Deathclaw form, other deathclaws are friendly to you and perhaps can even be talked to.

Always wondered what Deathclaws would talk about, they are quite social. XD

Yeah they're possible too, we have the deathclaw mesh rigged to a human skeleton.

So no plot lines or ideas? I can put it together, but I'd only be interested if there is some something beyond simply the transformation, something that makes the project compelling.

 

To get the ball rolling; we could have FEV tonics that initiate the DNA transformation.
