So if I understand correctly, replacing his laser with a holo rifle that can also project holograms? Yeah I think that is do-able. However I think when ED-E is projecting a hologram s/he shouldn't be able to attack as well as a time limit.....for game balance. The projected hologram is already pretty powerful since they are essentially immune to damage. I'll start looking into it. I think I can keep ED-E emitting a cone of light on the hologram to give it the look we want. Do you see just the laser gun being replaced or would holo emitters on ED-E be a more complete vision? No, I meant the hologram REPLACING his weapon. So he's defenceless without the hologram.

Well there wouldn't be much for you to get there anyway. The best loot is kept by the respective commander of the area. And they'd still be hostile if you had upset the NCR or Legion.

Could you have a hologram transmitter a player can place on Ed-E, then Ed-E uses the hologram as a weapon instead of his normal laser. Holograms can be switched between a security hologram or Vera's hologram ^^ Kinda like what Elijah was intending to use holograms for. XD

Oh for the love of god don't use the first picture. That's completely the outfit of her made by a fan, wrong infinity scarf colours and the the right glove should be short not both long... XD

The problem with female aliens is that people generally try to make them attractive with human standards complete with very mammalian breasts and the human female figure... :\ Not that there is anything wrong with wanting sexy or cute female aliens but it's unlikely female aliens would look like that. XD

I think they mean it increases your combat skills? Maybe it gets disabled when your head is crippled?

Yeah, Legion should have offered a companion as well. Though seeing he would be hated by the NCR, every place you go to would with NCR troopers would result in a massacre XD Maybe you get an indoctrinated female Legion slave if you prove yourself to them, instead? Like with Clover in Fallout 3! ^^

You should require the player to also find some of the schematics to build it at the Big MT facility, in addition to having high science/repair skills. ^^

You could try the custom race mod. And then add what ever body meshes and textures you wanna use with that. ^^

I like arguments, yes. I never said I know everything about Fallout... I don't need to change because I gave no absolutes, sorry if the way I wrote things made you think that. BTW, how is that Ed-E mod coming along that he can project holograms? ^^

I was just saying it bit differently the 2nd time, it still means the same thing. Don't be so literal. Offcourse ED-E is amazing, he's the best companion! ^^

The nukes were set to launch at the NCR, not Legion... We don't know how robot conciousness works, for all we know both ED-E's were in constant contact with each other and one conciousness controlled both bodies. I didn't say Legion are saints, I said they did SOME good. Let's just agree to disagree.

Who says Ed-E did that for the Legion? He also saves the NCR and anyone in both area's, seems like a neutral-good action at worst... In the ending slideshow, it says Ed-E clone transferred data to the original Ed-E. How am I drifting? If I know I would live on in another body, then sure if it means I save EVERYONE not just the "bad guys" and it's still even debatable Legion really are all evil... They certainly did something right. Why are we arguing if we are kinda agreeing? XD

Since when did Ed_E spared or killed Legion troops on it's own? That was just joining or doing what the Courier asked of Ed-E as a companion... It is kinda mean of the Courier to force the Ed-E clone to kill it self to stop both nukes but the Courier couldn't do it themselves and thus it was the only way to stop the nukes. And duplicate Ed-E still transferred all of it's memories and experiences to it's original in the Mojave. It completely depends on Ed-E's look on conciousness but one could think because Ed-E can share all of it's memories (or soul) between multiple mobile platforms, it could see it as a kind of immortality as long as one copy persists. ^^

But we don't know what is already in the main game? You might be adding a bunch of stuff already in the game XD

I would like that if your encumbrance is between max and double max, you actually see your character dragging a huge sack at walking speed. (you can't do anything but drag your sack at this point) If you go over double your max encumbrance, your character is then unable to move the sack or move in general... XD

Well when it comes to AI, life is a bit different as AI can basically just switch bodies in an instant XD Like the Geth in Mass Effect, where a Geth program can just download into a different mobile platform (or body). ^^

Also for vanilla companions you can choose from Raul, Lily, Ed-E and Rex. 4 vanilla companions who do not care which faction you choose and which you kill. ^^
