Jouko
As Jouko approaches the site he recognizes the two young ladies that attacked him the night before, he approches them with no fear and says "hello Alenee .. Linden .. how are we doing this fine morning"
Emry
The man's greeting catches Linden by surprise. "Sir you have us at a disadvantage. You know our names but we do not know you. Again I ask you, who are you and why are you here?"
Jouko
"Well lets just say we have met under harsher circumstances, also the Name is Jouko Akujin nice to meet you" He winks at her and looks over at the hole.
Emry
Linden stiffens at the wink and draws herself up to her full height (BTW, she's 6"1") and looks at the insolent man before her. From the look in her eye, you can tell that she did not approve of the wink. "Very well....Jouko Akujin. Perhaps, you were the person sneaking around last night? If so, it was not well met. "But now we stand in the light of day where much more is revealed. And since that is the case, you stand before us evading simple questions. For the last time I ask you. Why are you here? If it is not for site business, then I am going to have to ask you to leave. "
Jouko
Jouko stands upright like she did (BTW IM 6'8" hehe) he stares down at her and says "Well it may not have been well met but nonetheless its a new day, and the reason im here is to help with whatever is over there, he points his thumb at the hole. So you have your answers, also lighten up its a brand new day look at the beautiful sun shining, *sniffs* is that breakfast i smell do you mind if i have some i havent eaten real food in almost a month now." Peregrine
Alenee, watching silently until now, finally speaks. "Now that's an interesting story... But how about telling us the truth? No sane person gets involved with something like this for no reason but kindness. Combine that with your sneaking around, and until I know your full purpose, I'm afriad you aren't going to be staying here." She shifts her pike to a defensive position, ready to reply to any resistance with a block and quick counterattack. (btw: its 8'6", just to continue the theme)
Jouko
"You can step down young lady im here because i believe that whatever is in that hole is the reason there have been no animals and many freakish happenings the past few days, now heres your choices either you go with me or i will go alone.......... but if you dont mind could you share some of your food with me?" Peregrine
Alenee looks at him with contempt. "Now you're an interesting one... first you're rude to me, then you ask for my help... perhaps it is you who should 'step down' if you want your food." She tears a piece off of her meal, and tosses it on the ground nearby. She then walks over to the hole and starts looking for a way to get down safely. Malchik
Tiemmo grins at the dwarf. "Yes, that is what I thought." He turns to the others. "I said I would join you. So what is our plan?"
Kethruch
Linden, Alenee, and Jouko Alenee looks down at the hole and sees that it is indeed just 8" across, far too small for someone to be able to get through. In the morning light, the toolmarks of much chipping and scratching are visible in the hard stone.
