She shakes her head as if trying to clear the cobwebs from her mind. She looks over to Jouko for a moment, but there is no recognition in her eyes. Leaving the torch on the ground, she takes her mace in a two handed swing (think baseball bat) and smashes the seal on the door. She stares blankly at the door afterwards.... After a few seconds of shock, the blank look in her eyes, and its consequences, finally breaks through into her mind. "Awww damn... I knew I should have let this one go..." she says to nobody in particular as she brings her aim around to cover Linden. Noticing that her former ally is no immediate threat, she holds back the arrow. As everyone looks around, there is silence for a moment, then, a heavy grating sound reverberates throughout the hallway. After another moment, there is a very loud CRACK and a line appears, narrow at first, then widening as the door slowly swings open into the space beyond. Emry's daze falls away as soon as the door begins its movement. Soon, the door clears the wall, and there is a great whoosh of stale air, carrying ages old dust out into the corridor. Satisfied that none are there (if they really aren't there), he looks at Linden."Are you OK? What just happened?" He steps backwards into a position so he can lookat both Linden and the doorway. (Long pause) "It seems so strange..... I was walking towards the door to examine it and I hear or felt a roar in my head... I remember dropping the torch...... and the next moment I'm picking up the torch and the sealed door is open." She blanches as she looks at the door then back at the party. " Did I break the seal and open the door?.... I don't remember......" She closes here eys and whispers, "Oh Poeved.... help us in our hour of need. You had a blank look on your face. I think we should stop here for a moment until you fully regain your composure." He walks, more confidently than he feels, to stand beside Linden. He places one hand on her shoulder to reassure her. "Did you have any sensations before you... lost focus? "I am more concerned that I was the unknowning and unwitting vessel for something who wanted to get this door opened. I do not know if this will happen again or if I will attack you if I am overcome again. I tell you truly, this event has frightened me.. badly. So I ask you this, do you want me to remain with this group even though I may pose a danger in the future? " She looks at the group expectantly.
