wesaynothin
"Krixox, Melisande, Tiemmo?" Helstar says, in a hoarse shout. "Hellooo??"
Peregrine
<ooc: I'm still on my trip until the 6th... If it's keeping you from continuing the game, Kethruch or Emry, you can take over my character for a bit.>
Kethruch
HelstarJune 05, 1048 0759 Your voice sounds strange - almost as if it never passed your lips and all you could hear was the vibrations from within your own body. There is no response to your call, and you have a definite feeling that no one heard it. MelisandeJune 05, 1048 0759You have lost all sense of time and space - your running should have gotten you clear across the hill of the kings by now, but there is nothing but the clinging fog wherever you turn. Your turning around does not seem to help matters, either, as all sense of direction is now meaningless to you. TiemmoJune 05, 1048 0759There is nothing that reaches you - no sounds - no voices - not even a sense that anything is around. Alenee(Hope you're having fun on your trip!!!)Emry will be running you until your return - don't worry - She's only lost two characters with me (should I have said that? I don't know - I want to inspire confidence........)

Malchik
Tiemmo is pretty sure he is trapped in a spell. Lacking skills to dispel illusion he can only hope that it is durational. Rather than blunder about uncoordinated. He decides to wait it out. Yelling would as likely as not bring the wrong sort of attention.
Melisande
Melisande continues her current status - she just has to cath up with him sometime, she thinks to herself. Though her muscles are aching and her side pounding, she continues on after her quarry, hoping the others are soon to follow.
Emry
Peregrine, I'll try not to get your character mauled too badly....I hope. :P Alenee nods in response to Linden's suggestion "I'll cover you both - but let's hurry, shall we? I do not like this mist." She scans the room for anything sinister, ready to strike with her bow.
Kethruch
Eruanion, Linden, & AleneeJune 5, 1048 0835 The top of the coffin has been completely blown off, but the crystal has somehow managed to wind up sitting in the coffin amongst a great deal of debris and a long-dead skeletal figure. The gem has settled in the ribcage of the skeleton, and you believe it will take some doing to get out. As Linden is looking into the coffin, she is grabbed by the ankle by something under the fog, practically crushing it with the power of its grasp. Jouko's head appears out of the fog, and it uses her to pull himself to his feet. She looks in horror at his dead, black eyes. On his face is a scowl that could only come from hell itself. With a screech, it howls, and she notices too late that his sword is drawn, and heading directly for her. Only her armor saves her from serious damage as it turns his blade, causing only minor wounds to her midsection. Helstar, Melisande, Krixox, & TiemmoJune 5, 1048 0800 The mist suddenly clears, and you find yourselves standing next to each other not two feet from where you entered the fog. Melisande is taken aback by the vision of a floating head, but rights herself before she strikes as she notices that there is a dwarf attached to the handle on the other end. "Sorry, milady - it won't come off" She says apologetically. On the other end of the room - still half the room's width away is Bengt, quickly making symbols in the air with his hands. the side of his head and shoulder are scorched and the wounds look exceedingly painful. He looks at you with a panicked look, and quickly makes a final gesture. "You may have foiled me this time, but there will be another time soon when the tables will be turned - mark my words!" He hisses at you, malice dripping from his intonation. With that, he crosses his arms in front of him, and seems to be waiting for something. Emry
"Holy Poeved, preserve and protect your servant in our hour of need!!" Linden mumurs as she looks into the dead eyes of what was once Jouko and then winces as his sword hits home. Gasping for breath, she takes her mace and comes straight down on Jouko's wrist, trying to break it and force him to drop the sword.
Peregrine
<ooc: got a computer sometimes out here, so I'll post when I can. Take over if the story has to continue while i'm not around.> Her suprise at the return and betrayal of her former ally keeps Alenee from responding at first. But as Jouko readies his second attack, she releases her arrow. Without waiting to observe it's effect, she draws and fires another.
