Malchik
Tiemmo sheathes his sword and slowly equips his longbow, keeping a wary eye on Bengt.
Kethruch
Melisande, Krixox, Tiemmo, and HelstarJune 5, 1048 0801 As you get accustomed to the reality of the room again, you see the body of the missing guard lying at Melisande's feet. He is pale and there is a large pool of blood that seems to originate at large slashes up his chest and belly. Alenee, Eruanion, & LindenJune 5, 1048 0836 Alenee's first arrow slams into the back of Jouko with little apparent effect. Her second hits home just at the base of the neck, causing the Jouko-thing to lurch slightly forward as Linden's mace comes crashing down. The impact of metal on wrist results in a loud crack that is heard by all in the room. Even so, the Jouko-thing still holds the sword steady and continues his assault on Linden. Thanks to the arrow shot from Alenee, however, its sword strike goes wide of its mark.
Emry
Linden, taking advantage of Alenee's marksmanship, shifts to a two handed grip on her mace and roundhouses into the chest of the Jouko-thing with a bloodcurdling yell of her own. wesaynothin
Helstar looks down at the body. He turns to the group, and tries to whisper so only they can hear him. "I think we should get out of here fast, and then bring some Guards over here and tell them Bengt made this mess. That should be an end to our problems." He looks around the greoup, waiting for a reply.
Peregrine
As Jouko continues to ignore her, Alenee takes an extra few seconds with her next shot. She carefully aims for Jouko's head, and releases an arrow. As soon as it is away, she slings the bow across her back and readies her pike, point held to stop any advance by Jouko. The walls are a bit of a problem for pike fightning, but it's better than nothing...
Melisande
Melisande recovers from her shock of seeing the disembodied head and turns to Bengt. "Milord, would you surrender to us at this point? As my companion here has artfully stated, you are outmatched." She waits for the reply, crouching to jump the best she can into battle with the strangely acting man. Kethruch
Melisande, Tiemmo, Helstar, and KrixoxJune 05, 1048 0802 Bengt's figure seems to fade and is replaced by a grotesque figure. Great reddish-brown horns sit atop a face that seems to be half lizard and half human. The arms and legs grow dark scales, and appear impossibly muscled. The torso also is covered with the same dark scales, and two great, dark, leathery wings unfold from behind him. "SSSSoooooo, you think that I sssshould ssssurender to you?" The creature spits out, its long forked tongue flicking in and out as it talks. "I believe it isssss you who ssssshould ssssubmit to my and my lordsssssss will." wesaynothin
Helstar clicks his tongue, and then turns back to the party. "I really think we should get some guards over here. It may just be me, but I think horned-lizard-men are a bit creepy..." He says. He turns back to the creature and sets himself ready to defend or attack if needed. Melisande
Melisande looks in horror at the transformation. "Helstar - you go for help! We'll try to keep it at bay!" she yells to Helstar, hoping that Krixox and Tiemmo will stay by her again. She continues her steady pose, eyes never leaving the creature, ready to strike if it approaches within range. Yeccch! She thinks to herself. Between that floating disembodied head and now this, i don't think I'll eat anything solid for a week!
wesaynothin
"No... no. I cannot run, too slow. I'll help hold it off. I'd say send a faster person for help." Helstar says, trying to ready any defensive or offensive spell he can.
