wesaynothin
Helstar stops and tries to brush some of the food paritcles off of his back. "Remember, chew, then swallow. It helps sometimes." Helstar says to Tiemmo. He turns again and continues watching, randomly dusting his back every once in a while.
Kethruch
June 05, 1048, 0940 As you leave the constabulary, the sunlight is just coming over the imposing form of the Temple to the Arcangelican Gods. Several people of all kinds seem to be making their way around the building, which takes up almost a third of the available space within the castle walls. What little history is known of the area is that until recently, this was the temple to Corithalion, the patron god of Toof. Within the past year, the temple was rededicated to the Arcangeilical Gods, and the temple to Corithalion was moved outside the walls in a move that was not entirely liked by anyone except the Arcangelicans. (As a note, any who have selected a god who is a 'local god of x' are worshipping one of the Arcangelical Gods). There are several taverns that are just outside the castle walls; The Bush and Sealion, The Scarlet Foal, The Torch and Plume, and The Windwalker Bear. OOC - I am posting some of the maps in the signup thread that I haven't been able to get to you guys in the past.
Melisande
"Does anyone think that the vision might have been religious in nature?" Portia asks as they walk past. She personally doesn't think so, as religious visions tend not to happen to groups. She sees the sign for the Windwalker Bear and thinks that the name is wierd enough that it might be a good place. "Why don't we head in here to talk?" She suggests. "It's morning, so there shouldn't be too many people there."
wesaynothin
"Looks fine. The is probably religious. If that was a god, then it was religious. We just need to know which god and which religion." Helstar says, looking at thej tavern.
Melisande
"I really don't think it was religious." Portia replies. "I don't know, but it really didnt feel like a religious experience. Does anyone know enough about magic to know if that might have been some kind of illusion or even someone sending their, how shall I say, 'spirit' over a distance? I'm afraid I'm not much with magic, but all of my senses say it was something non-deific."
Malchik
Tiemmo, slowly emptying his pockets by transferring the pastries to his mouth, knows better than to speak with his mouth full. He follows them into the tavern.
Emry
Linden starts to head over to the Windwalker Bear pondering the vision the group recently saw. "I need to pray and mediatate on this. But first, food.... and a bath."
Kethruch
June 05, 1048 0945 The Windwalker Bear winds up being a cozy little place. As you enter, there is a large common room with several tables set up on one side, large chairs on the other. The beams in the ceiling look thick and well-aged, and the woodworked chairs at the tables all appear to be in the shape of sitting animals, with their forepaws or wings acting as the arms of the chairs. The room is empty, except for a couple of ladies in white peasant smocks and long dark skirts who are cleaning up around the edges of the room. "Good morrow, gentles," One of them says in a heavy brogue, curtsying as she does so. "Is there anything we canna get chyou? I am sorry, but the cook is gone, but will be back ere lunchtime. We maybe can rustle ya up sometin' if ye wish a cold breakfast." The other turns, curtsies, and quickly heads out of the room.
Peregrine
"That would be nice," Alenee replies. She turns back to the rest of the party. "What about you? Those pastries were good, but I need some real food before I think about divine intervention and all that."
Emry
Linden smiles and nods. "Ladies, thank you for your offer. Anything you can cobble together for us would be appreciated. I would also like to get a room and a bath for later if possible."
