Shattersphere
I've been searching the internet for seemingly forever trying to find a useful guide on how to merge two fallout:New Vegas plugins but they are all either showing me how to merge FO3 plugins or they are telling me to use FO3 Editor even though they never explain how to use FO3 editor for FO:NV. Can somebody please give me a short guide on how to use FO3 editor to merge FO:NV plugins? The second i open up FO3 Editor it has the Matser/plugin selection screen with nothing in it because it's searching FO3 when I want it to search FO:NV. WastelandAssassin
are you referring to FO3Edit??because if you are, there is a program for New Vegas, called FNVEdit, which can do the sameso you can use the same instructions, but with the NV version of the program if you referred to the GECK, than you can get the NV GECK, and then follow the same instructions, just for NV
hippyguy
I'm having the same problem. I wanted to merge a room from a different mod into another mod but apparently the GECK can't handle two mods at the sametime so I need to merge the mods then bring them into the GECK. Anyways, I know there's a NV Edit but it would be nice if someone could post a tutorial for it still.

To load multiple .esms in the GECK, you need to change this setting in the GECKCustom.ini file: bAllowMultipleMasterLoads=1 This file is NOT found in the fallout3 folder in the BethesdaSoftworks folder. It is found in the user folders under My Documents/My Games/Fallout 3 it is the same for New Vegas (just look into the NV folder, not the FO3 one)
hippyguy
Thanks for the reply and sorry I wasn't specific enough. I knew two mods could be opened. However, what I'm trying to do is steal the room from one mod place a new door in a second mod connecting to this room. When I do connect to this room in the other mod it works however, elements from it are missing which is why I assume I need to merge the .esp's in order to make it work. I'll explain in more detail with pictures and such tomorrow. I'm tired xD
Shattersphere
Hey I've been spending a ridiculous amount of time looking into this topic and i have found out how to merge plugins. Ill make my own little tutorial. 1) Download FNVEdit (http://newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34703)2)Extract it3)Run it and it will come up with a list of all the .esp's in your FNV data folder4)Select the Master file and all the .esp's that you want to merge5)Right click on anywhere under the "Form ID" part and select "Create Merged Patch"6)Call it what you want your mod (with all the other mods in it combined) to be called (e.g. Supermod)7)Click the + next to one of the mods that you want to put into you Supermod8)Right click on whatever is under the "File Header" and select "copy as override into" and then choose your Supermod9)Repeat step 8 for every part of the mod you selected (Ingestibles, armor, weapons, etc)10)Repeat step 9 on all the other mods you want to add to your Supermod11) Once everything has been override into your super mod click the exit button and it will come up with a little thing that you then click the green arrow on and then you're done! Of course this tutorial isn't perfect but it teaches even the biggest noobs (like me lol) how to merge plugins.

TBGT
This method is okay for a quick merger of plugins but it still requires the other plugins present in the data folder as they are master files of this this merger patch. Any way to quickly and simply merge the contents of plugins creating, in effect, a new master plugin or not?
FlyingHigh10000000
I'm also looking for an answer to this question. I have exactly 240 plugins in my data folder, and it's causing some issues with stuff from one mod or another not loading. With fewer mods, it doesn't cause any problems. I figure if I can merge say, my 100 or so custom weapons plugins, most of the stuff regarding the game not loading half of the textures should stop.
